I have been a customer of Farm Basket for as long as i can remember. It used to be great. Now it has gone downhill from the great place I used to love. My last several visits were very disappointing. My last visit I got 2 sandwiches that were dry and paper thin. They have cut the breast down to nothing. The manager agreed they were extremely thin, but claimed that they had no control over this issue???
How could anyone run a restaurant and tell a customer that they had no control of their products.
I am sorry I didn't take a picture of the 2 sandwiches I bought last night. Anyway, as you can probably figure out already. I took them back this morning, since Last night was not an option. I live to far.
Last straw for me. The manager had an I could care less attitude, while telling me they were busier than ever. While also claiming they were in the process of opening new locations. I have been hearing this story for the last 4 years. The way they are chasing long time customers away. They are doomed...
This is my previous review of Farm Basket. No longer a valid review. Just wanted to show it for the record.
Farm basket is awesome! They have hands down the best chicken fingers deal in Las Vegas. DEAL NO LONGER AVAILABLE.
They are located on W Charleston Blvd just 100 feet west of Jones on Charleston. Their website doesn't appear to be up to date. It shows a picture of a trailer. which is not Farm Basket, so not sure what that is all about?
If you super size it for a dollar more you get 5 huge chicken fingers with the jumbo fries a jumbo drink for a total of Less than $10. For me this is at least 2 meals. I love their Garlic Parmesan sauce for the chicken. It's so delicious!
They also have a deal where if you upsize to jumbo on the chicken clucker or or Turkey gobbler sandwich you can get the 2nd sandwich for free. and that's amazing! DEAL NO LONGER AVAILABLE.
I love the Turkey gobbler sandwiches it's a Turkey breast sandwich and it tastes great. There is only 1 location and I don't know why they don't open...
Read moreAbsolutely delicious. I see this place every week on my way to run some errands and after a year i finally stopped in today. I got the 3pc chicken dinner meal for me and 4pc chicken finger meal for my pops. The food was served fresh and hot with in a few minutes of ordering and I found that to be amazing. The chicken was beyond juicy, the breading was on point, and best of all it wasnt as greasy as some of the other well known chicken joints out there. That aside the coleslaw was different than what im use too, it was no where near as sweet as your typical coleslaw but still maintains a hint of sweetness to it. I actually preferred the coleslaw this way. The mashed potatoes and gravy was everything because of the gravy and tiny chunks of turkey in it, it was incredibly phenomenal with the sweet side roll that came with the meal. I was beyond satisfied with what i got. Sadly i forgot to take pics of the food but the presentation was perfect as well. The fingers also were juicy, they were nice big chicken fingers and pops approved it over canes which is his usual spot which i wasnt expecting. His plate came with fries and he ate every last one of them which he rarely does anywhere except McDs, safe to sah he too was pleased with his meal. The real highlight here was the customer service however. The sweet lady with the short hair who took our order was incredible. Extremely nice with A smile on her face, went the extra mile for me, and had no issues running things out to me as we ate outside on the patio. Her customer service should stand as an example of how to represent a business she was that good at what she did. I will be stopping in here on a regular from now on as it replaces my need forfried chicken...
Read moreSo anyone who's ever been a student at CSN Charleston and uses the Jones exit to get to and from campus has driven past this place and been curious. I finally stopped in, wondering what to expect. As the sign says, chicken and turkey. Sandwiches, fried chicken, chicken tenders, taquitos.
I decided to opt for a chicken tender meal, considering myself somewhat of an expert on the subject, having dined at Raising Cane's, Chicken Shack, PDQ, Chick-Fil-A, etc.
Now a meal here consists of just the tenders, fries, one sauce, and a drink. The addition of some coleslaw would have been welcome. The tenders themselves are great. They are, by chicken tender standards, MASSIVE. So there's your value. The breading is crispy and delicious, and the chicken is fresh and not overdone. The only downside is they're greasy. The fries are also perfectly cooked, and my only complaint is they're too salty. If I want them that salty I'll salt them myself. I got the creamy sriracha sauce, which was delicious! I wish I'd have had more than a tiny half-full cup. You'll need to buy extra to have enough for your chicken. Also, the cup and lid it came in was covered in sauce (which as a mayo-based sauce you know how mayo starts to look when it's been sitting out uncovered, it starts to get translucent-looking?), so not good. Wipe the outside with a damn napkin if sauce gets all over it when you're filling it up.
Overall, this place has the fundamentals of a great chicken strip basket down to a science, and then botches the delivery. It would not be hard for them to have earned a 5-star rating at all. Just try a little harder. Like I also got no ketchup and was not even asked if...
