China Hot Wok — Restaurant in Las Vegas

As a gigger, I've been in every corner of Vegas and tried at least a dozen Chinese fast restaurants. While, most of them I won't bother to come back or review, I keep coming back to China HW whenever I hit the area. I would say this is the best made-to-order takeout in Vegas, especially on the lunch combo.

The main entree always tasty and tender for all the protein. The egg drop soup has perfect consistency and sweetness from corn. Combo also comes with 2 egg rolls, which has crisp and fresh vegetables filling. One roll for appetizer and the other for after meal. Also, the fried rice and mein are tasty as well, not just additional for the heck of it.

Now,for those who know Chinese food, Chilli Oil is very important, spiciness made up the 1 out of 5 star. The difference from B to A+. Plus, soda is included for after-burp. Best part, the price is great; $10.something with tax for...

I have been eating at this restaurant for the past 5 years and have always had amazing service and the food has never disappointed. Today I called to order for delivery for my family and had the WORST customer service I have EVER received then was told that it wasn't a good time for them to take my order and that they would call me back at a later time when its convenient for them...WHAT?? That's a first!! Then she told me that they are busy and I just need to understand. I asked if the manager/owner was available I was told that she would not give me that information and hung up on me! I'm really disappointed..I'm not sure if they have new owners..but unless you feel like being treated like your an inconvenience then I suggest you find a different...

I placed an order for takeout through the app and the app stated it was ready at 6:00 PM. I was told when I arrived that the order is not ready, and had to wait for 15 minutes. After a lot of miscommunication I got my order, and realized that the cooks were not wearing their masks. Some had no mask on, others had the masks pulled down so their mouths and nose were exposed.

My wife is immunocompromised after a recent kidney transplant and at high risk of Covid, so this was a deal breaker for us. We threw the food in trash, and big shout-out to Jesus with Yelp customer service for issuing us an immediate refund.
