Just decent. Maybe they need some time to work the kinks out, but our experience was not great. We were so excited to try this new place out and saw the open sign! Went for dinner Friday night. They said they had opened on Wednesday. Decor is nice. Tall ceilings make it seem big and open. We ordered a margarita and a beer. We then ordered and the calamari app that ended up coming out at the same time as our entrees. Calamari was just ok. Husband had the birria tacos and I had enchiladas. His tacos were supposed to come with rice and beans and the broth. He only got the tacos. Flagged the server down and she seemed confused. She ended up looking on the menu, then taking the menu to show the cook. It took a while but he finally got the rice and beans but whatever liquid they gave him, it was not broth. It looked like cream of tomato soup. He said it was not good. Enchiladas were so-so. Went to pay and she took our Discover card and was gone for quite a while. She finally came back and said the card wasn't working. I said, "Do you take Discover?" She said, "I don't know." Gave her another card and...
Read moreI ordered a strawberry margarita when I first got started. Waitress asked if I wanted alcohol in it. I thought that was a weird assumption. I am 40 years old and clearly looking 40 so there should be no mistake about my age if I can legally consume it, and if I didn’t want alcohol I would have ordered it without. Just weird to me to ask that, and then when my strawberry margarita arrived it hard no alcohol in it, very sweet but absolutely no tequila. Chips and salas brought out, was the best part of the meal. Great flavor salsa. I ordered the speedy Gonzalez burrito. You have option to add veggies, chicken or steak for additional price I didn’t add anything extra. When I got my burrito it was a decent size. But literally a single burrito on a plate. Not even some shredded lettuce to take up room and make a nice plating vision. Inside my burrito it was entirely filled with Mexican rice, then had onion and cilantro. That’s not what the description said. I expected it to have beans inside. The onion and cilantro was too much. I also expect it to come with a side of beans and rice....
Read moreMy boyfriend and I went to eat there last night and walked out with a full belly and big smiles.
The place is beautifully decorated, the have a bar and also have at least 7+TVs playing various sports event. The music isn't too loud, and you are able to have a comfortable conversation without having to yell across the table.
I ordered the Chicken Fajitas, and they were delicious, and the serving size definitely left me full. My boyfriend opted for the Camarones Casa Real, which had a different spin than other seafood places, but overall pleasantly surprised, and he would definitely have those again.
The wait staff was super friendly and charismatic. Our server was Jazmin she was observant and refilled our drinks without us having to ask and always made sure we were ok.
We also had 2 shots, "Mexican Candy" and "Scooby snack" both were delicious, and the taste of alcohol wasn't too overpowering, but it definitely put you in high spirits
Lastly, their Cheesecake Burrito and Flan were both heavenly.
Perfect for dates and family outings. Prices...
