Iāll revisit this location in a few months once the traffic has slowed.
My honest review; I have eaten at another Power Plant location (Cali) and it was a very positive and quick experience. I believe that the high traffic due to this newly opened location has contributed to an overwhelming demand. With that being said.. management obviously failed to either train or staff correctly and efficiently to combat the ānew openingā popularity. The good: The young lady at the order window was very polite and greeted us with a smile and tried her best to answer all of our questions about menu items. She, unfortunately, was not very familiar with the specifics on the menu (like the cold-pressed juices) and could not provide details on what the substitutes for the meats were (IE soy) The burger and fries were delivered via the drive thru warm, which is better than cold. The quality of the burger, specifically, was superb and I would definitely return for the burger alone.
The opportunities for improvement: The customer service at the food pick up window was horrendous. The young man did not communicate whatsoever. He opened the window, stuck a beverage out and didnt say anything. We waited a few minutes for our food to come out and he again hadnāt greeted us or said one word. I went to check my order after he handed me the food and he gave a look and attitude that expressed discontent at our want to confirm our order was correct. I then motioned to get his attention to ask for more ketchup and he seemed very unhappy to help. The line was about 20-30 minutes, which was pretty irritating because the guys inside were joking around and not doing much to get the job done (or so it seemed.) I do believe that if operations arenāt running smoothly it can often times be attributed to poor leadership, so, so with that information what you will. Finally and most importantlyā¦ā¦ā¦ The southwest avocado wrap and āBuffalo wingsā were actually kind of horrible. The wrap was drenched in sauce to the point where you couldnāt really taste any of the other ingredients. It was small and everything seemed to muddle together behind the sauce. There was uneven distribution of meat to sauce and avocado, which was weird and gross because at points it was just a wrap with goo inside.. The chicken wings were actually tenders. They were soggy, falling apart as I tried to pick one up. Iām familiar with vegan/veg friends chicken strips and these are the worst Iāve had in terms of texture. Literally falling apart in between my fingers. The taste was fine and nothing special- just get some sauce and your own tenders from your local Whole Foods and save yourself the disappointment.
Fries were fine and warm. None of the food was āhotā but the only thing that was mostly inedible...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreAs soon as I walk in the majority of the staff was up at the register area with what seemed to be their lead having a conversation about medications like insulin and non job related things. Should have known to leave then because it wasnāt a good look but placed my order anyways. The guy that took my order did a great job, heās the reason I wouldnāt give a zero even if I was given the option to. The girl who got my order together though, clearly the chisme was so good she even forgot how to read. I got my food for take out because I was there just a couple of days ago for dine in and their trays didnāt seem the cleanest. Well Ms. Thing decides she read dine in instead of take out. Iām watching her as she realizes and she then proceeds to stuff my food in a bag, even scrapping the fries that were loose on the tray and tossing them into the bag. She doesnāt look at me the entire time. Just looks at her lead with a āooopsieā grin on her face. Her manager kept giving her the same smile and to me as well, as the girl is doing this, saying āno pasa nadaā meaning nothing is happening. Then the lead herself gives me my food. The entire time the look on my face was of someone who is displeased and she had no intention to offer any type of comment on what she knows I just saw and didnāt like. So I make the comment to her first saying that I think itās a lack of profession that she kept saying everything was ok when it clearly wasnāt with me, the customer. She simply said āshe thought it was take outā and walks away. Mind you, with the same smile and a bit of a giggle while this is happening. Doesnāt even bother to ask why that bothered me in particular. I go back to my car and decide to come back in for my receipt since I opted out the first time for it. The interaction with the lead was the same. I donāt know about anyone else but $40 for take out in this recession is a treat in my home. That is what I was doing today, treating myself for the second time this week because I liked the food so much. Ended up throwing it away because I was disgusted with the situation. I donāt like people laughing in my face and I donāt like people playing with my food either. Most likely wonāt step foot there until you get another location and hope the employees are all...

I was thinking if something's running away, scared from me and doesn't want to die, it must have feelings, it wants to live... Knowing this, how selfish is it of me to continue to chase or have someone else chase it till its caught, brutally killed, butchered and then eaten.
