ACTUAL STAR RATING: 2.5 This Einstein Bros Bagels shop located on Lake Meade in Summerlin was the first one we frequented when we moved to Las Vegas almost ten years ago. At that time, it was a good reliable place for a decent New York-style onion bagel and schmear. The bagels were always well made and fresh, the coffee pretty good (but I prefer the coffee at Starbucks next door), and the service more than adequate. However, the service has recently become suspect, the bagels not cooked right, and the shop itself is dirty and unmaintained. I don't know what happened after all these years. Maybe it was bought by a new franchisee, possibly the manager isn't on the ball, perhaps the staff no longer cares, or perhaps German corporate food giant JAB Holdings has caused the decline. Whatever the reason, this store is now one of the worst remaining Einstein Bros Bagel stores in Las Vegas.
I hope whoever reads this can get things back on track again as this store is tucked away in an excellent location, with a lovely outside patio, local shopping close by, and is well worth saving with a bit of effort.

Read moreThe food at this store is always good. I want to give this a two star rating because when I went to pay for my food, the manager of the store was at the register. I was using my card when a man came up to pick up his bag of food that was waiting for him. He kindly interrupted and asked if the bag was for him. The manager completely ignored that he was speaking to her. Once he saw that she was intentionally ignoring him, He raised his voice over her to talk to the next employee who was further down the line, asking the same question. She, the manager, then started talking, so disrespectfully to him about raising his voice. He then began speaking only with the other employee, ignoring the manager. She scolded him for talking above her, and being so rude as to ask for his bag. She then began talking to the air about the man, saying things like, “oh now you wanna be nice”, when he was kindly speaking with the other employee. Her employee was so humiliated at her behavior. She just kindly addressed the man. I ignored the managers’s foul behavior and paid for my food and left. The entitlement this manager showed for respect from customers TO HER was disgusting. If she doesn’t like working with the public, she should not be in that position. It’s clear she needs a different job...
Read moreIm taking time out of my day to write this review because i am that upset with these people at this store. I Can't believe I had to wait 20 plus mins for 4 bagels which 2 of them had nothing on them just plain and there was no line when I ordered. I eat Einsteins all the time in Florida and I am visiting. I found them online and went to this store. They screwed my order up royally as well. I asked for an Asiago bagel toasted with no egg just bacon and cheese, one chocolate bagel toasted with cream cheese and two plain sesame seed bagels just toasted. I got the breakfast bagel with egg and no bacon, the 2 sesame bagels with plain cream cheese and the chocalate bagel with the wrong cream cheese. I checked my order in the car and just came back in to replace the 2 sesame seed bagels because they were for my wife that has a dairy allergy and they made me wait another 10 mins to just replace those 2 bagels. No apology, nothing. And when I told her that I have been waiting on my order since 9am and it's now 930 the lady said "I don't know anything about that I just make the bagels". Lovely customer svc skills, and trust me the manager or owner of this location better start looking into what these employees are doing because it makes the brand which i am fond...
