El Birotazo — Restaurant in Las Vegas

Pretty good food & fast friendly service. I came here for the 1st time with my family & we loved it. I ordered the tacos de canasta, uno de frijoles, otro de carnitas y de chicharron. All 3 of them were pretty delicious. The staff was very welcoming & friendly. The only downfall to this place is how small it is. You legit feel like all of the chairs & tables are on top of each other. I'm not gonna lie, it's pretty ghetto but the food is worth it. The fact that it is located in such a nasty area of Las Vegas & the fact that it's so small is why I'm only giving it 3 Stars. The tortas look pretty good to. the menu has only 6 options to choose from. I was also pretty upset that they didn't have Horchata, so I was stuck with Agua de Tamarindo & it wasn't even that good. The sodas are straight up from Mexico wich makes them even more delicious.All in all i was pretty happpy with the food & service. Just work on expanding & more beverage...

I went there on the hunt for some birria tacos 🌮 and unfortunately my hunger was not satisfied. I ordered three fried birria cheese tacos, 1 small consome, 1 torta ahogada. Sadly 😥 my consome was not placed in my bag and I missed dipping my tacos in it which were not that moist. I think there torta ahogada needs more taste and needs more layers of flavor. It was bread and slow cooked pork which tasted just porky. Not my favorite. This torta comes with a sauce that is tomato and spices I could only taste tomato. This dish needs more to it in my opinion. It's OK. I did like their hot spicy sauces. My favorite was this roasted pepper sauce spicy! How I like it. Authentic Mexican food, there’s many places that claim to have Tortas ahogadas, tacos de canasta, Birria, quesabirrias, all which usually tend to be an epic fail or severely whitewashed… this place has THE BEST most authentic tasting Tortas abogadas w the proper type of bread like the ones back home, the birria and consomé are to die for especially their quesabirrias are a MUST have!
