We came here based on the reviews. Let's start with the arrival time. We order online for takeout and arrive at the estimated pick-up time. As soon as we went in, the cook was also taking phone orders. Once he got off the phone, we confirmed our pick-up order. We did add a large garden salad during this time and requested to add cheese and extra dressing. For a large salad, it only came with one-two ounces of dressing. We paid for the cheese as it didn't go with it, but we also had to pay an additional 1 dollar for another two-ounce dressing. We were okay with that as times are rough, but dressings on a salad should at least be four ounces free, especially for a large salad. After this, we had to wait over 20 minutes or more. I'm not sure if the wing we originally ordered was what took so long or the large garden salad we added when we arrived. However, the pizza was ready long before the rest of the order. The pizza prep cook seemed confused as he kept opening the already-made pizza boxes repeatedly as if he had forgotten what he put in the pizza boxes. Let's go back to the salad. It seemed the kitchen did have cheese as the lady who seemed like another cook came and grabbed a fist of cheese from the pizza area without gloves. I'm assuming it was what was added to our salad. We don't get grossed out easily and want to be positive and assume she washed her hands before cooking 🤷🏻♀️. The following person was lucky as she came to grab gloves to the register area, which seemed odd. Why are the gloves at the register 🤷🏻♀️🤦🏻♀️. The pizza prepper didn't have gloves either, and I don't think I've seen others use gloves at pizzerias. Once our order was finally ready, the pizza was cold! 💆♀️during all this time, the guy Who I assumed was the owner was walking around arguing about god knows what instead of helping in the register and phone so the cooks could adequately complete the orders. The places had orders coming in slowly but were not busy enough to wait an additional 20-25 minutes after the original pickup time. After all this the food was good. Even the cold pizza was good, or maybe we were hungry 😆🤷🏻♀️. It definitely would have been delicious hot. Perhaps they had a bad day, but will I try it next time? NO! Do I recommend it? You can decide for yourself! The service was not good. The food was good, above average...
Read moreWalked in today around 12:30 PM with friends, it was empty we were not greeted nice instead it was more of an annoyance when we gave the older woman in the front our order. I ordered 1 slice of veggie pizza and was told by the lady cashier that the last slices were part of another order. I understand- so I ordered pep instead- I preferred veggie but its my lunch hour and I didn't have time to wait for a new pizza. As I waited I noticed the guy running the oven only heating up 2 slices of veggie, so I asked about a slice of the remaining. " are these slices for another order? " him- "yes" but looks confused. " are these slices for another order? " him " yes" still looking confused
*we realized the language barrier, my friend translates He tells her they are not part of an order, I let him know that's what Id preferred- I was charged- fine ill take both.
there is clearly a lack of communication with the kitchen and the front, when my friend also ordered some onion rings we waited for about 15 minutes for what was only 5 small onion rings, my friend asked about how long since we had been waiting we were made to feel like we were annoying the lady in the front because then she disappeared, she stated oh for the wait Im just not going to charge you but my friend was indeed charged.
The food was great but the customer service was honestly horrible...
Read moreI've been going to this pizza joint for over 10 years when I was working in the area close enough to swing by. It was also known as Villa Pizza back in the day. Last time was in April 2018. Pizza was still exactly the same great taste (Ranch too!). Reading the reviews it seems as though it has been sold to new owners. I believe they were there on my last visit. I'm disappointed that I will not be seeing the old owners as I enjoyed visiting with them. I'm sorry I don't know the fellas name after all these years. He was the bald tattoo'd dude, always making the pizza. You will be missed. I am happy to see that the new owners are carrying on with the same pleasant service and tasty dishes. While I was waiting for my pizza (Large cheese $9.99) they offered me some samples of their desserts. I didn't indulge, cause, well Pizza! I am not near them, work or home but whenever I am in the area will stop in. The ranch can't be beat! Only giving 4 right now until my...
