I recently ordered 3 giant subs from this location, and had a small problem with the order. I placed the order online, and in the "special instructions" area, I requested extra condiments. But the sandwiches were still dry, and I wasn't happy. I submitted feedback accordingly, directly on the Jersey Mike's website.
Within one day, I received a call from the owner, Mr. Martinez. He apologized for my experience, and said that the next time we had Jersey Mike's, 3 giant subs were on the house. He said he'd leave my name and a note at the store, and we would be taken care of.
It just so happened that I was going to be in the neighborhood the very next day; in-between houses, and at the end of a prolonged and grueling move from one zip code to another, I had no dinner plan for my hungry family. It was a the perfect opportunity to take advantage of Mr. M's kind offer, and we did just that. I was a little concerned that the I.O.U. note wouldn't be there, because my conversation with Mr. M had been just the day before. But as promised, he left the note and we got our make-up meal.
These were some of the best sandwiches I've ever had in this town! They were delicious, and clearly care had been taken to make sure of that. I was blown away, not only by the sandwiches themselves, but the quality of customer service provided...Things happen. Restaurants can botch take-out or delivery orders in any number of ways. It happens all the time. In fact, I'd venture to say that it's the minority, not majority, of take-out/delivery orders that is filled 100% correctly. Whether it be the price, something missing from the order, receiving the wrong item(s), something not made correctly or per customer's special request, etc...more often than not, there's at least some kind of issue.
It's the WAY the issue is handled that sets a restaurant apart, and Jersey Mike's earned accolades and compliments for their prompt, personal, professional, generous, kind and humble gesture. Mr. Martinez was right on it, checking the feedback and taking immediate action to correct the problem-- and then some. I was pleasantly amazed; you don't encounter this level of service every day.
Mr. Martinez and Jersey Mike's, W. Cheyenne, have a lifelong, loyal...
Read moreIt pains me to give this place 3 stars because for as long as we’ve gone here it’s been a 5 star place. I’m not sure if they’ve hired someone new who hasn’t been trained properly or something but this past week we’ve ordered from here twice (once on UberEats and then tonight on the app for in store pick up) and both times the sandwiches have all been made incorrectly. None of the sandwiches have been made with the “Mikes Way” toppings, even though it’s specifically asked for. When asked to not include specific ingredients (tomatoes, in one instance), it’s still added. They’ve also added random ingredients that haven’t even been requested (avocado). Drinks that were ordered were missing both times. The sandwiches aren’t being cut in half, which is minor but in conjunction with all these other repeated mistakes it makes it seem like laziness may be to blame here.
This has always been the Jersey Mikes that we’ve gone to and the owner seems to actually care what the customers say on here, so I really don’t want to have to go to a different location. Hopefully these issues can be addressed, I feel like they’re pretty...
Read more02/10/2025 I hate to complain unless I feel truly disrespected or if a company doesn't want my business then I'll let them lose it forever. I have visited jersey mikes dozens of times a year for years and years but after two recent issues I won't be returning.
I showed up at this location at 10:10 today and they should be open at 10 am. I figured no problem, they probably forgot to unlock, anemployee saw me try to open the door and made no effort to signal or come unlock. I tried to give the benefit of the doubt but after standing there for a few minutes with them continuing to make no effort to open up I decided to leave, as soon as I walk off to put my toddler in the car I could see them come to unlock the door. They clearly waited for me to get fed up and walk off so if they don't want to serve me then I'll gladly never come back.
This is coming off another terrible experience at the centennial location a...
