This Starbucks branch is truly, mystifyingly dysfunctional - every single time, almost without fail. In the drive-through, their digital screen hasn't worked in months. There is ALWAYS a delay before they take the order, sometimes a long one. They are frequently out of the thing I usually order, cold brew, and they frequently give me the wrong thing, such as today, with sweetener I didn't ask for. This is week after week. I go there periodically, maybe once every couple of weeks, and it's the same thing every time. Once I waited more than 10 minutes at the window to pick up because the refrigerator had flooded the floor, which is understandable, but there continues to be delays for unknown reasons almost every time I go.......and it's not that busy. I don't get it. Friendly folks, just having a rough time running the place. I recommend Cafecito, an independent drive-through coffee stand further up 7th st.
*edit : I waited 10 minutes at the order machine today (not surprising but longer than usual) the parking lot didn't look busy. I finally placed the order. sat in the line behind just 2 cars for another 10+ minutes. the car in front of me just took off after a while without getting their order, frustrated. I pulled up and waited. and waited. and waited. nobody at the window. I saw the people inside moving really slowly. Hungry, for one of the only gluten-free protein options easily accessible in town, I waited some more. Finally a young man came to the window and said 'sorry about the wait.' I said, yes, I've waited 20+ minutes. He said, we only have 2 people here today. I said, geez, they should just shut down if they don't have enough people to run the store properly. He said, "you know what? You can just leave." He shut the window and refused to give me my order....
Ā Ā Ā Read moreThis was the best looking yet worst Starbucks I've ever been to. I'm a Starbucks barista and it took me about 35-40 minutes to go in, order, and get "drinks." Yes, I ordered something complicated, but they were confused af. They didn't even know what a doppio or triple was. My drinks were made absolutely last. Like I saw cars driving into the drive through and they proceeded to not do my drink. After they gave me my drinks, I said they weren't right and they only redid one of them (incorrectly again), and they gave me very unpleasant looks and customer service. She said that what I wanted wasn't on my order but then I read it on my order slip and it was on my order. Then I had to wait and remind them of my food item. My family was waiting for me and it was actually embarrassing how long it took for the quality I got. I wish I could've just gone back there and made my drinks and food myself. I would've only taken 5 minutes top to take my order, make the drinks, and heat my food. They had at least 4 people working, and at my Starbucks, sometimes we're 2-4 times as busy and stuck with only 2 people working. We're not lackadaisically walking around and talking to each other; we are dead focused on making drinks and helping customers. I don't leave reviews, but I hope this one makes...

The drinks are NEVER consistently made properly. If youāre gonna charge $10, make the cup of espresso correctly.
They like to park you if they made your order incorrectly. Am I at McDonalds? Must be, Iām getting the attitude. Actually, scratch that, thatās insulting to McDonalds.
Had a little immature girl roll her eyes at me when I politely pointed out THEIR mistake. Iām sorry? Roll your eyes at your coworker. At the very least turn around when you do the dirty look. Iāve worked customer service too, rookie.
One day the manager or ālead employeeā is happy, the next day they are just rude for NO REASON. Pop a pill or quit, donāt take it out on me.
The one redeeming factor? You can at least document everything and contact their customer service. The small town attitude doesnāt save a billionaire corporate entity in this case. Regardless, go to the local place Cafecito. They donāt get free college or Spotify like the miserable peeps at Starbucks but the attitude and environment is a million...
