I'd give it 3 1/2 stars if I could. I forgot to take photos but overall, the food was good. We tried this place bc we got coupons in the mail and the burgers looked delicious. We'd never been here before.
We ordered 4 burgers (no combos. That would've been and extra $5.99 each) ... First, a BYO cheeseburger with bacon and avocado. I was very disappointed bc there was literally one slice of bacon broken in half and crumbling, and 3 tiny slivers of avocado (and I do mean slivers). For the ridiculous add-on price of $1.99 EACH, there should've been substantially more. This was true of the other 2 burgers we chose to put add-ons on as well.
The next burger was the standard cheeseburger with add-ons of bacon and grilled mushrooms. I decided to check my order before leaving. Good thing bc the burger had no grilled mushrooms, but it did have grilled onions. My daughter despises onions. Had to ask for the mushrooms, then wait 5 more minutes to get them cooked. At least they were fresh.
The third burger was another BYO with bacon, which again, was difficult to even find. The burger was, however, drowning in the mayo/mustard/ketchup they put on it. Drowning!
Last burger was the Well D'Onion from the "Burger Hall of Dang" section of the menu. I did add-on an extra 1/4 lb. patty for $2.50 bc one 1/4 lb patty isn't enough for my hungry man. The burger looked decent but I don't honestly know how this one was, as my husband didn't eat it until he was home from work hours later.
We also ordered the family size fries to share. The online menu gives you zero idea as to how much is in it. The photo and description for the 3 different sized fries available were all the same. They came in two maybe 20 oz cups in a bag in the style of Five Guys fries. It was just enough for 4 of us to have a handful each.
Finally, we ordered their shakes. Decided to try 4 different flavors in large size and share since we hadn't been there before. We got Coffee, Oreo, Mint Choc. Chip and Cookie Dough. For $6.99 each they should've been bigger. At least to-go, they were all capped with no whipped topping or anything else. They do give you colorful boba size straws to use. They were real ice cream but were VERY mild in their flavors, and a but short of mix-ins... all of them.
Lastly, I picked up our order bc to order delivery (which they offer directly) would've cost an obscene $17 in taxes and fees + $4.99 for delivery. Ridiculous! By picking up, I paid just over $5 in taxes. The staff was exceptionally kind. The young lady at the counter was very helpful and the manager was apologetic over the grilled onions/mushrooms thing. He walked me to the door upon leaving. I will say, this was the end of the night, about 20 minutes before closing, so I'm not surprised by the mistakes, but the staff didn't treat me with frustration like so many places do around closing time.
Overall, the food was just okay. There are better burger places for the cost. I used one of the coupons they sent and it was supposed to be "buy one, get one" but with the cheapest burger being over $10, they only gave me $6.99 off. Maybe they'll work some things out but I definitely wouldn't pay that again for what we...

This was the first time I ordered from MOOYAH, ordering via Uber Eats. Arriving at the restaurant, I was not greeted and it took about 3-4 minutes for someone to acknowledge me standing in line (no one else was in line). (People were in the back cooking). When I was asked if I was there for pickup, I said yes. It took some time for the food to be made (they did seem busy even though there was no one sitting in the restaurant eating). When the order was brought out, I was looking at the queso that was part of the order. It was between 1/2 and 3/4 way full. (I have picture of evidence). I told the lady and she said “girl it’s not half way full”. She proceeded to say that she was unable to give me a full container (as she cannot take something back once it’s past the counter, which is totally understandable as there are food regulations). I asked if I could have another partially filled container she wouldn’t even give me another partially full container. Her customer service was suboptimal as she 1. Called me (I am a grown woman) “girl”. 2. Couldn’t make the order right. (The queso costs over $3 and would have liked to got what I paid for.) Unless the expectation is a partially filled container, then I apologize for asking for a full container if the standard is a partially filled container. Furthermore, as I left, the bags that had my food broke and two of the fries containers had opened on the floor of the establishment. Not one of the employees offered to help me clean up the mess. One employee (not the lady that was rude to me) did come out after I had cleaned up the mess and offered to get me a new paper bag which I accepted. That same employee who offered me a new bag did offer to help me bring my food to my car outside, which was nice, however I declined this offer. This was not a good first impression of the restaurant. I am unhappy with the service and I will be telling everyone about this experience and that they should take their business elsewhere to a place with friendly employees. I had gotten over $50 in food and I left sad and honestly with tears in my eye as this lady was rude and no one offered to help me (until after I cleaned up the mess). When I got home I noticed that my burger (that comes with avocado) did not have avocado. I fear that if I call or go back to tell them about this, the lady at the front would rather belittle me, argue, and not make it right. Everyone has a bad day, and today had not been the greatest for me and maybe the rude employee was having a bad day too. Though, employees shouldn’t be taking it out on their customers in my opinion. This experience made my not so great day even worse. Terrible experience. Do...

MOOYAH Burgers, Fries & Shakes truly stands out with its vibrant and modern decor, a unique blend that creates an energetic and inviting atmosphere. The interior boasts a carefully curated mix of bright red tones, complemented by eye-catching neon signs and charming cow-themed art. The elegant wooden floors add a touch of sophistication, creating a well-rounded and welcoming dining environment that is sure to pique your interest with its unique and vibrant elements.
During my recent visit, I was irresistibly drawn to try the MDT burger, a delectable combination of double beef patties, creamy American cheese, crisp lettuce, juicy tomato, and their signature MOOYAH sauce, all topped with savory bacon. The burger, served smashed-style, delivered a delightful explosion of flavors with each bite, as the different textures harmonized beautifully to create a thoroughly satisfying and tempting dining experience.
Despite the visual appeal of the decor and the flavorful burger, some factors detracted from my overall enjoyment. One notable issue was the lack of air conditioning, which made the interior uncomfortably warm. Additionally, we encountered a persistent fly, which was an unfortunate and unexpected interruption to our dining experience, requiring constant vigilance to keep it away from our food. This was a surprising deviation from the otherwise clean and well-maintained environment.
The presentation of the fries also left something to be desired. Carelessly scattered onto the tray, they appeared haphazard and lacked the precision and care one would hope for in a dining establishment. A more thoughtful approach to serving the fries could have significantly enhanced the overall appeal of the meal.
In conclusion, I give MOOYAH Burgers, Fries & Shakes a modest three-star rating. While the visually appealing decor and the delicious MDT burger make for a positive dining experience, the lack of ambiance and attention to detail prevents it from standing out among its competitors, such as Shake Shack, Five Guys, or McDonald's. However, with some improvements, it has the potential to offer a truly memorable and distinctive experience, giving us hope...
