Waited for 23 minutes before we were acknowledged. My bestie wanted iced coffee but they only have regular whole milk so we both just went with waters. We ordered a meal with Ube Pancakes and Bananas Foster French Toast. We also ordered a side of 1 sweet crepe with strawberries. The environment was pretty gross with the table and menu both having sticky substances on them. The floors looked like they don't get mopped and several tiles had cracks and food bits in them. Both the table and the chairs had to be stabilized with sugar packets because everything rocked when we tried to cut into our food. When the food came, the ube pancakes looked like a birthday cake, and tasted like food coloring from icing. Bananas Foster French Toast was good but only had 4 slices of banana cut into it. Potatoes were bland with the meal and the crepe was inedible because the "sweet cream" was sour tasting and came with strawberries but not syrup or whipped cream. One of the strawberries still had a cut green leaf sitting on it which you would think someone would notice with NO other toppings to hide it. The server asked a cashier to remove the crepes from the check and he only discounted our check with a "friend's and family discount" which would take off less money than the crepes plus their tax cost. The server told us to ask the gentleman to fix it at the front and so we did. Another female server with long black hair got an attitude about us asking to remove the discount and just remove the item. We could hear her talking sh1t about us asking to correct the discount from the kitchen area. When the gentleman came up to adjust the check and cash us out, we explained that we could absolutely hear her talking sh1t from the kitchen. The female server heard us and said "oh...okay" and walked away, but then came back when we were speaking with the manager a few minutes later to aggressively print blank paper from the terminal so she could hear what we were telling the manager about our terrible experience. I am honestly not sure what it was that people loved about this place, but they can have it. 1/10, will not check it out again.

From the moment I walked in I was disappointed. 1. As soon as you walk in a sign says Mandatory face mask just to walk in. It makes no sense because immediately you take it off. 2. The tables are pushed up against the wall to where I had to pull out my own table as if the morning set up did not exist. 3. To my right was a table that still had the chairs upside down. Not because of social distancing reasons because that was the only table with its chairs like that. 4. 1st thing we did was order coffee… then we had to order the Creamer and sugar… followed by having to get up and hunt down a straw to Stir the coffee due to lack of silverware. 5. Silverware did not come untill after the food came and we had to ask for it. 6. Coffee was not strong at all it was merely tinted water. 7. I ordered over easy eggs but received over medium. 8. Food was ehhh. 9. Once empty on coffee we had to flag down the waitress to get a refill. 10. Once again we had to re order Creamer and sugar. 11. Before I forget while receiving food instead of serving everyone at their side she reached uncomfortably close to my daughter's face in order to give me my food. I could see reaching over but that was really close and rude. I hope that with this constructive criticism Some industry retraining can be accomplished. Normally I would not complain or write a negative review unless it was excruciatingly needed.

Naturally the place is very busy on the weekends as a popular eatery in the area, and the same may apply to regular weekdays. So it's best to book a seating ahead of time; particularly if you've got a big party. But aside from that, the atmosphere was cozy and definitely is just as my sister/brother-in-law praised it. We'd gone today specifically to celebrate her birthday, and were eager to try some of their unique breakfast/brunch dishes. I was initially undecided between a savory meal (Lolo's Adobo Fried Rice Omelette) and their sweet secret menu pancakes (Buko Pandan), but was relieved to find that I could try both by having the option to substitute the usual potato sides for the pancakes. A definite win-win situation. It was worth ordering and trying the two, and both surpassed my expectations. The Omelette was filling, and reminiscent of the Adobo dishes my family tended to cook for meals/parties growing up. And the Buko Pandan Pancakes surprised me with their sweet yet smokey taste. Although I sampled my sister's Ube Pancakes (another secret menu item), and really liked the sweeter and cakey taste, both of these unique and tasty pancakes were superb from your ordinary fair. I look forward to coming back, and enjoying another breakfast with friends and family. 😋🥞💕

It's a shame, the food is so perfect and delicious, the chefs and bus people are killing it, but the lady at the front desk and one servers are rude as hell. They act like you are disturbing them just cause you're walking in. The lady slammed the stack of menus hard as if she was releasing some anger and never once made proper eye contact when we said hi. At first I thought, maybe we walked in too late. But I saw the time at it was 1:50pm and the restaurant closes at 3pm so it certainly wasn't because we were showing up right before close. Then I thought, Are they all coming down from uppers or something? Because it really looks like they don't want to be there. I've had this treatment everytime I walk in with the same 2 grumpy women. and I always tip 30% as a standard, thinking of my gratitude for the cooks and bus boys. So it's not like they remember me being a bad tipper or something. The waitress we got was so curt and seemed so done with everything. She also made no eye contact and came and almost slammed our food we ordered to-go and knocked a half open creamer all over the table and didn't even apologize or blink an eye. My brother even said "oops" to acknowledge her behavior and I pointed out to her she spilled it the creamer and she said "just leave it" and stalked off without apologizing. I have never written a yelp review before but I had to say something this time. Before I thought, maybe they were always just having bad days and i only go out to eat once in a blue moon anyway. But, Seriously are these people on something?? if the owner saw how this girl greeted us and how she totally ignored us as we walked out and said 'have a good day' to her, didn't even look up for a second even though she clearly heard us, the owner would be pissed. The sad thing is I used to go to the one on Durango but I found this restaurant had a higher quality of consistency and taste and I didn't have to wait as long to get seated but the behavior of the girl at front and the bothered waitress we get every time?? I'll be going to the other location cause even with the food inconsistencies, taking too long to seat, leaving my hair smelling like the kitchen because the location is tiny, at least they treat their customers like family and I always leave...

TLDR: The food is meh, the service was slow, and they are rude af when trying to get bad food that we didnt eat off the check.

Ok, we showed up 30 minutes to close so Ill admit we were cutting it close. But we knew what we wanted even though it was our first time there. We waited for 20 minutes to get actual service. Which, to be fair, there was only one server and a bunch of other people standing around or cleaning for close. The table was wobbly af and we had to put sugar packets under the feet to get it to stop. But we had time at that point.

Ordered ube pancakes - it was like biting into a birthday cake and not at all what I expected. Its fine if you like that, but it wasnt pleasant. Then the crepes tasted....sour...like the cream inside had gone bad. The eggs, turkey bacon and potatoes were just ok...

I couldn't find the server to tell her before the kitchen closed so I went upfront and asked them to switch the ubi out for bananas Foster pancakes. I wasnt 100% convinced they were coming out, but again I know they were closing down the kitchen, I tried to resolve it as fast as I could to not be that guy. In good news, the bananas foster pancakes were good.

In not good news we asked for the crepes to be taken off because they were bad. They gave us 20% off the whole check for and said it was the same...but it was less than the cost of the crepes, only a little bit, but its the principal at this point. We told a girl upfront and she ran back and started loudly complaining about us to her manager around the corner. And then when we told her "you know we can hear what you say around the corner". She got uncomfortable and left. We asked for a manager and she came out of the back. We told her about the experience, not because we wanted anything free, that would be insane, but because its important for them to know they did not deliver. She didnt seem seem to care and neither did her team. They need more actual servers for Sunday afternoon it seems. If it wasnt for one thing after another I think the food wouldn't have left such a bad taste in our mouths.

Just a few moments after leaving my friend felt sick from the...
