Port of Subs — Restaurant in Las Vegas

Last night I went here to get my family dinner. The teenage girls working behind the counter told me to hold on while she refilled all the oil and vinegar and shakers. Annoying but whatever. As I'm waiting a bug is crawling around in the lettuce. I'm like "hey there is a bug in the lettuce." She grabs it and then washes her hands and puts on new gloves. Starts making my sandwiches. I'm said "hey you need to throw that out" she said " I can just give you spinach." I said "no, I want lettuce" she said " I can't waste that much." I said "there was a bug in it. Yes you can." She takes it in the back with the other girl where they talk. The other girl comes back and says "I'll just through it out back here." lol I'm like ok whatever I'm not eating that lettuce. She comes back with the SAME container and I said "did you really through it out?" They normally have plastic over new food and the lettuce was the same level. I'm not stupid. She couldn't even look at me. She mumbled "yes I did" other girl comes back and is doing my sandwiches with attitude. I know how dare I ask for bug less lettuce. Then we get to the lettuce and she is about to put it on my sand which I said " no way, I don't trust that lettuce" she then walks over to the other teenager and says something rude about me. I really would have laughed cause this is so dumb but I just wanted to go home so bad. Then she doesn't ask if I want chips or a drink. Then over charges me. Take that as my last tip. I will not be coming back which sucks cause it's so close....

Rude & Unprofessional

I sent my daughter in with the sandwich card ready to be redeemed - it was a little old so she asked if she could use it before ordering. Apparently the owner Mike Egan felt that the card had been stolen and falsified because the signatures were not consistent with his methods. He assumed the worst and was extremely rude and hostile to my daughter, treating her as a criminal. I spoke to Mr. Egan and as expected he denied treating her in such a fashion regardless of the other eye witness accounts. He stated that because there were so many of the same stamps/signatures it looked suspicious. Well yes Mr. Egan I have 7 people in my family, we buy 7 sandwiches at one time so the stamping and signatures would be consistent for a transaction of 7. Rather than ask questions, he was a bully.

I had previously heard rumors that he mistreats his employees, is rude and has even had employees quit on the spot. After this incident I believe the rumors and don't doubt any of the witnesses. While he has a right to deny using a card, he doesn't have the right to traumatize my daughter (or anyone else) which is exactly what he did. I can assure everyone that I will take my business to the local...

Weirdest workers here... come in 30 minutes before closing and the guy making your sandwich is talking down to you, questioning every thing you ask him to do as in if i ask for turkey he’ll ask me a second time if i want turkey.. i ask for bacon he asks me again if i want it, i say YES YES YES, why do you kepp asking me? I tell him light mayo and he only puts half mayo on half of my sandwich just trying to be a smarta**. ALSO is smiling and laughing at me for some odd reason while servicing me.... as the other two employees are awkwardly standing there trying not to laugh just staring at me the asian guy making my sandwich is still laughing at me... I think drug addicts work here. Its was the weirdest yet most frustrating experience ever. WHY COME HERE when their is a PHENOMENAL Capriottis, subway, and fire house subs just down the street from this disgusting place. Also they’re food has bugs in it from time to time...
