China One is easily one of the best spots around for fresh, flavorful Chinese food. I’ve tried a variety of dishes here — shrimp chop suey, fried tofu with vegetables, shrimp with lobster sauce, orange chicken, beef pepper steak, General chicken, sweet & sour chicken, plus both egg drop and hot & sour soups, and every single one was made fresh to order. Even the lunch specials are delicious, generous in portion, and very affordable. Great food, great value, and always consistent…highly recommend!

Food is fresh, hot and comes to you fast! They give very generous portions. We had the lunch specials and took half home as there was a lot of food. They even give you little Chinese chips for starters. Egg rolls with accompanying sauce was good too. I like that they let you choose either rice or noodles with your entree. Great place to eat and doesn’t kill your pocketbook!

We absolutely enjoyed our lunch at China One. It was our first time eating there and it won't be our last. Everyone there was so sweet. Also, before ordering your plate asked about the serving size. We ordered the shrimp and broccoli. It was delicious but the serving size was huge! We are not complaining because it tasted just as delicious the next day we ate it.

Update: they continue to disappoint with their lack of service. I am now done with China One. Bye-bye!

Whenever I order lately (the past 2 or 3 times) there is this younger sounding girl that just seems to be itching to get me off of the phone rather than taking my order correctly and making sure they have everything they need (delivery order).

Just to sum up the issues recently: She clearly does not know her own restaurant menu because I have asked about dishes I was going to try and received wrong information. I have had 2 occasions where things were missing from my order. And, re-delivery always is quoted the same amount of time so I am waiting an hour+ for what they missed when packing my order. She is just somewhat rude. I used to order online all of the time. They changed there delivery areas online even though they still deliver to my area but now their website won't let me order online. I asked the manager about this once and was told "just call in and order from now on." Way to go on that awesome customer service.

I always place large orders... $50+. This occasion was no different. After ordering some initial items I asked what I was at ad was told $59.xx. I had $10 off $50 or more coupon so I stopped my order and was ready to pay. I told her about the coupon and then asked the new total. Very flip, she was like $49.xx. Hey, when I asked the first total I didn't know that she had tax, delivery, etc. in there so I didn't think it was a problem to ask for the discounted total to know what was going on my credit card.

Now, on to processing the card. After getting the number and expiration date she asked for the CSV code. Sorry folks, I didn't know what she was talking about by "industry name" and realized she was asking for the security number. Gave it to her which she seemed clearly annoyed... geez didn't realized everyone in the world needed to know what a CSV is.

Just before hanging up I asked "how long will it be?" And got the award winning "I told you it will he an hour and 10 minutes."

Just rude. Is this really the service we count on these days. I mean come on is telling someone there total and how long for delivery when asked too much of a bother. And, is it the end of the world when they don't know your transaction processing lingo.

I like Little Dumpling also but they do not deliver to my area so I often order China One for the convenience of delivery. We'll see how this order goes, but I am seriously considering sucking it up and making the drive when I want Chinese because I just don't need to put up with the hassle of China One... too bad their service doesn't match the taste...

I must say three is not a Charm in this case... This is my last time ever!! I ordered Veggie fried rice substitute mushroom for green bell pepper, spicy Cooked well (Only because the rice was too soft the first time I every ordered & look like it was NOT stir fried just mixed)

So first they try to charge me an extra $1 for substituting the mushroom. Then I drive 10mins to go get my food & come home to open so mixed veggie rice that ain't spicy, plain taste wit a hint of burn pepper oil like taste...my 4 year old said this taste burned mommy... smh

It was not cooked like before...at least it was spicy because of the jalapeños pepper & that what was missing & would explain the burn flavor wit whatever pepper they used. I know different cooks cook different. There is a basic recipe each cook should know by heart! If I'm paying my money can I have what I'm paying for! That was my third time & they messed up every time so I'm done!

No one apologized! I told them I don't want nothing else but to let them know that I should have got what I ordered that's what im paying for! The second time I went I paid 28 dollars for three things but since the website prices are not updated 🤔 I had paid more than I was expecting since my total was not given to me over the phone cause I was rushed off! Hopefully they improve..but they won't be getting my hard earned money! One apology the the three times I ordered & that was on the second visit. No more of my money will be given cause customer service is bad just...

Would Not Recommend to Others

My family and I have eaten here for some time. The recent two interactions here in my experience have been horrible. The first time of this unpleasant dine in happened like this. There were two customers ahead of me. Both had already ordered and were sitting down at separate tables.

My child and I walked in and I stood ready at the front ready to order. The cashier saw me but yet continued to talk with one of the customer's casually. I stood there looking at the guy cashier for five minutes. He never said hello to me nor said "I'll be right with you", nothing.

The experience was so distasteful, my child and I left. As we headed out the door. The guy cashier then says "oh come again". So he knew I was ready to order but ignored me.

I waited a few months to return to give Durango China One another chance. This time, the cashier was cold and emotionless, not friendly at all. Plus, the dish I ordered regularly, they made way too spicy.

My family and I couldn't even eat the general chicken dish because it was too spicy and hot. They have never applied so many red hot chili peppers like that before. This is not the first time we ordered this dish.

I feel it was retaliation for my person. I called right away to kindly make the complaint, and that same rude cashier says "I'll tell the cook" and nothing more. I will NEVER eat here again nor recommend my family and friends to eat at this location.

Hopefully corporate reads this review, I was treated horribly...
