What a wonderful gem of a restaurant.
We went for late breakfast/lunch the first day in town.
The food was well made, with top quality ingredients, and tasted great. All freshly made, with love and care. All that and excellent service made us go back the second day, and we are planning to go again tomorrow. Third time, before we leave Vegas.
Nanny's a wonderful hard working woman, and she won't be happy unless you are. And with her 'magic potions' (sandwiches, soups and omelettes) will make everything better, and you'll be ready to face the new day!
My saliva glands are now working just from writing this. I'll have to get up soon and head to Nanny's.
Lastly, don't forget to order the most fragrant breakfast tea, and wonderful just made coffee.
Enjoy everything. We sure did! And came back...

Nothing like the picture on the menu or the sign on the wall. The three, very thin slices of deli chicken was unrecognizable with the chicken to pesto ratio. While I appreciate pesto, I would have enjoyed a sliced chicken breast as pictured so at least I could have tasted chicken. There was barely enough chicken to call it a chicken sandwich. For a $12 sandwich, it was very disappointing. The croissant in the case look delicious. Perhaps I'll stop again for a baked good, but I will not order another sandwich from this cafe. It's unfortunate. It would have been a good sandwich had there been more...

Something is definitely lost in the translation of "filet of chicken". It's actually chicken cold cut 2 slices, copious pesto and mozzarella. Glad I still have my original teeth for the bread is hard. Overall, it is flavorful but still very disappointing especially for the price. Asked my wife about the half salad and sandwich and she responded "blah", cut up Romaine with a slice of Swiss cheese. Sandwich had 1 slice is prosciutto with cheese. Nanny's could do better but doesn't....
