Average playability And... Semi friendly pro shop staff, (SMILE MORE, engage more), please. Felt not that welcomed compared to other courses and I paid $75 in cab fare alone to get there but I did not let it discourage me. Rained lots but played through it. Then paid another $75 to get back to hotel! The club rentals were just ok and just way overpriced! Paid $86 extra CDN dollars for just some rentals and when it should have been more like $30 US dollars to rent these! Not even any balls included/offered like most other courses do! For this rate it was a let down and a shame actually. No on the course yardage markers or not visible at all makes it more guessing on exact yards to the flag stick! This to me is Mickey Mouse action. Sticking to 3 stars as the greens were nice enough and my server at very end was so nice and a saving grace to this round today. The restaurant was nicely set up and inviting. Nov 8/22.

While the narrow fairways and residential setting might not suit every golfer's taste, there's undeniable charm to this golf course. Several holes hug sparkling water features, providing picturesque backdrops for your shots. My three-star rating reflects some speed bumps we encountered during our round. Tee times spaced mere 7 minutes apart led to a 20-minute delay for our morning start, and the overall pace stretched to nearly 5 hours. Frequent waits at tee boxes were the main culprit, and while the lack of a roaming marshal and free range balls might be dealbreakers for some.

I really don't live leaving anything but 5-star ratings, but this was a lame experience.

It was a Monday morning and the course wasn't at all crowded. The front nine went smoothly, but there was a group on the back that locked down the course. Of course, there was no marshal anywhere, so this group was free to clog up everything. Is it so hard to send someone on the staff out to check things once in a while, even if you don't have a marshal?

I left during the 13th hole--the wait was interminable and this course isn't otherwise worth it. (Despite the fact that it was my first time playing it.) I stopped by the clubhouse and let them know what was going on. Of course, they did nothing. I will not be back.

The following comments are about the course conditions and did not weigh into my rating:

The course is tired, just like the other courses this company operates. It's August, so I want to temper my comments a bit. And the management team isn't responsible for the lame layout (narrow fairways, random bunkering, etc.). By the way, Las Vegas is a desert--you know, all beach and no ocean. So why can't we have sand in the bunkers? This is common at all their courses and it's just sad. Otherwise, the course is in okay shape (with a few greens having some bald spots). But the fairways were rather bare, as was the rough (where you could find it). Just blah.

Reading throgh the reviews, I see that pace of play is a real problem here and nothing seems to be done about it. That's negligence on management's behalf. I mean, it was Monday morning in AUGUST! I cannot imagine what it's like on a Spring or Fall weekend. And I'll never find out.

Update after reading the response from the course:

The sand comment was a joke, a little ironic jab. But the bunkers ARE horrible. And the fairways are thin. And the cart paths are broken up. And the....sigh. You get the idea. But the staff is polite, which is nice.

No, I won't be back until some third party indicates that the course has been repaired and that steps have been taken to address the pace of play. But thanks for...

Can't keep having 3hrs for 9 holes, and don't keep.parties moving. Tried for a 2nd time today and it was the same, 3.5hrs to get to the 10th hole. Went to the pro shop to let them know and all I got was "we are sorry"! Let's just say, if the course was in top shape, and not just painted fairway and less than desirable green, I would maybe, just maybe take a "we are sorry", but the course is in terrible shape and the staff doesn't care. The driving range is another story, really hard mats and to practice tee off driving is completely uneven.

Needless to say. I used to play this course often, but today was the last time I play there, until some changes happen. Too bad, because layout is good and challenging.

Do something about it with the money you collect from us players.

(Answer to Owner)

Need to not pack the course just to make money, but schedule better timing. Patrol more the course to engaged players/parties that are not keeping pace. Green are truly one of the worst I've played in the valley recently. Better your range mats and grass. Pro shop personnel needs to be understanding of what is happening in the course so they can be kind enough to provide players with real answers to the why's of what's really going on there. Not just a sorry, but provide raincheck or range balls or a beer if that's appropriate. I am sure you can do...

If I could rate it zero stars, I would. I would like to inform future home owners. That DCM (desert community management) that works/ owns PDCA painted desert community association is poorly run. Coleen Crawford (the owner) is awful and will pretend she's not Coleen in front of your face. Her daughter Shannon dresses beyond unprofessional and "the Crawford family" give a very bad face to the community. They will send you a lot of letters and when you try to fix the problem they will not help you & say you must contact someone else yet there name is clearly stated on the letter or notice. Security guards are rude. The receptionist at PDCA will not speak clearly into the phone or in person. It is a beautiful place to live but is not worth all the hassle, time and pain they cause among home owners. Not to mention the security guard drives up and down the streets with the lights flashing when there isn't an emergency and they take pictures constantly of properties and yourself without your permission. They even solicit over priced vendors to make an extra dime, which is illegal!

If you want to pay 400-6000$ to have a palm tree trimmed. Headaches over the stress they cause. Lack of professionalism, this is the...
