I recently had the pleasure of dining at Smashburger, and I must say, it was an unforgettable experience! Our server was Dominic. I ordered the Classic Single Smash Burger and an order of Smashtots, and from the first bite, I was hooked. The food was served directly to our table just like in a diner. It was fantastic!

The Classic Single Smash Burger was a revelation. The patty was perfectly smashed, creating those deliciously crispy edges that are the hallmark of a great smash burger. The meat was juicy and flavorful, and the toppings were fresh and perfectly balanced. But the real star of the show was the Smash Sauce. It added a tangy, savory kick that elevated the burger to new heights. I've never tasted anything quite like it!

The Smashtots were the perfect accompaniment. Crispy on the outside and tender on the inside, they were seasoned with rosemary and garlic, adding an aromatic and flavorful twist. Each bite was a delightful crunch that paired wonderfully with the burger.

The atmosphere at Smashburger was welcoming and vibrant, and the service was top-notch. The staff were friendly and attentive, making sure that every aspect of my meal was perfect.

I have consistently and repeatedly tried this place and wanted to like it. I have two consistent issues: the execution and the customer service. The menu looks very enticing and with great options as well, so this is luring. They make a very creative take on a traditional burger and fries, which is a good thing.

The issue I find, though, is that the burgers are just underwhelming and leave me wanting. My most recent visit I got the Spicy Jalapeno Baja Burger w guac. What an exciting concept! Also got the smash fries...seasoning, olive oil, etc.

I feel, having owned a restaurant, trained staff, that service with a smile isnt taught here. Consistently, at various locations, the service is just that..service...it doesnt feel welcoming, it feels merely adequate. This stems from upper management and poor training, combined with poor oversight. Maybe they treat their employees poorly?

The burgers, while constructed neatly, just dont have the ingredients the menu would have you expect. My burger had 1 jalapeno on it, one maybe 2oz of guac, little cheese, etc. The flavors, mainly stemming from a well charred burger, came up far short, when youre combining guac, jalapeno, chipotle buns, etc. The menu presents like a great movie trailer, but when you go actually see the movie, you realize that was the best part...the trailer...the menu.

After about 5 tries...I wont return to a smash burger at this point,...
