Sweet Poké — Restaurant in Las Vegas

Came in the afternoon to grab a poke bowl for my friend and I yesterday (MAY 13, 2019). A young asian lady with a loose bun (which I'm concerned how that is not considered a health violation) came in from the kitchen to take care of us, she grabbed our bowls and took our order but then left it within the protien section and ran into the kitchen. A few minutes passed and she never came back. We were left standing there waiting for her to come back until the girl from the cash register came to attend the customers next to us, before noticing us and asking If we had someone to help us. We told her no, that we think the Asian girl went to get some more ahi and she told us to wait a second. She came back a minute later and took our order. The other girl who left us was nowhere to be seen. Now I'm not sure if she was getting ahi tuna as I assumed and told the other employee who helped us, but you dont leave your customers waiting around while you're in the middle of taking their order. At least with the other employees I saw while waiting with a good amount of people, they would switch off while the other went to do something quickly and come back. Not only that, the girl who left us seemed to be the only one who wasnt as attentive or hard working as others. She messed up a couple times on a person's order to where the customer was very upset at the register and she would scoff whenever an employee asked her something. Everyone else was amazing, I am very happy that the girl from the register came in to help us despite it not being us she had to attend.

If youre having a bad day it's understandable! But dont abandon customers or leave everyone scrambling after YOUR mess. That's not professional in any way, neither is the bun ( that was my gross factor! Hair could've fallen into the food!) or the attitude given to customers when they aren't looking or the employees who are trying to attend...

What a find this place is! Absolutely incredible! Friendly and welcoming staff, clean and you can smell the fresh ingredients! What’s unique is how much you can customize the ingredients of either your sushi burrito… Yes, SUSHI BURRITO or a sushi bowl. They prepare it all right in front of you as you watch and try not to drool. 🤤😆Don’t be afraid of putting rice in the sushi bowl, I was but It was great and I wouldn’t change a thing. We were surprised to see the generous portions of protein.. in our case all the Ahi tuna, crab, scallops and large shrimp… SURPRISING AMOUNTS! I would describe it as set up like a subway sandwich shop but for sushi the way they prepared in front of you and then you pay and can sit down at a little table or take it home. As we carried our food to the car to head home it was so hard not to dig in, it looked and smelled so wonderful. The taste was absolutely insanely awesome! So fresh delicious full of all the good stuff you want … and the surprising thing is the LEFTOVERS were ALSO so tasty and wonderful.. can’t say enough good things about this place.. if you like sushi or poke in the slightest…...

The only reason I come here because its convenient and my daughter likes it. The prices are high and if your not from Hawaii this place is like fake poke. You want real poke go to poke express. Also if your going at dinner be ready to wait the guys that order here do know what the they want. The other thing I notice is if you go here during their busy time the portions drop drastically little dissapointed I've worked for Aloha specialties and Ross J's Aloha grill busy or not portions remained consistent. Which means a lot more than you can eat thats Hawaiian style give and you will get in return !! This is my second visit since the last time things havent changed not enough workers in tje front and customer service is low here. This will be the last time I come here. Maybe I'll open my own place to show these guys how to do it with great customer service and Hawaiian style lol get ready poke express for sone...
