ONE star for: my server was MASSIVELY OVERWORKED and DID HER BEST and remaining composed and nice despite obvious stress all the way through my visit!(The restaurant was FULL WITH A LINE on a MONDAY early evening, but there were like two servers working🙄🤦♂️) (Kudos to her for not showing the stress and without bad-mouthing management/ownership in the process!!!) ONE star for good tasting food, despite some lack, described below. And ONE star for good overall value, described same. As for my review: SOOOooo…I grew up LOVING Red Lobster, and I’m 55!!! For MANY years, despite evolving to be a bit of a snobby-foodie, nevertheless the quality, value, and service of Red Lobsters nationwide kept me loyal, if not any other time of year but for “Endless Shrimp Season”, which has always been an opportunity to indulge in an abundance of GREAT food with good service and overall nice atmosphere for an INCREDIBLE value!…and therefore keeping it even as viable upscale date night place even for froo-froo-type people for many years. But…I don’t know if it’s because the emphasis has strictly been for a few years now (certainly through and since Covid) on attracting “the mass market” (that is, seriously no offense intended: for “riff-raff”) or what?…or it’s because there are lasting Covid-consequences (ie- “the Great Resignation”) and consequent struggle to attract enough talented staff, but—at least at this location this particular day—these things combined to just make my experience very, very disappointing and frustrating—for I’d had a very stressful day, was craving shrimp and some “take a load off” service, and had received a Red Lobster email promoting “Ultimate Endless Shrimp” this morning, which seemed like the ultimate “make things right” conclusion to my lousy day. Unfortunately, the result was: NO decades-long-favorite “Strawberry Lobsterita” was available (to take the edge off my day and to relive positive Red Lobster Memories Of Old) being on the menu anymore, and then only as a verbal “on the rocks” version being available (and not as a “blended”, as preferred for decades), followed by: I was offered my check after having ONLY my FIRST course of TWO OF FIVE “endless menu” options, then taking about 15 minutes to receive my third simple endless option after having to ask for (not be offered) that, then having my UNFINISHED basket of Cheddar Bay Biscuits (two of five eaten) being mysteriously cleared (I don’t EVEN wanna know what happened to them next!?!?), then being given a “not asked for” half order of the same third item apparently as a gesture of “making up for things”, then being too disgusted about the whole experience to bother asking for a fourth of the five endless menu options (despite it being THE ONE of all five that I wanted the most of all!), at that point just asking for my bill so I could end the lousy, salt in the wound of the rest of this day experience. Result: despite being VERY MUCH in the mood for it: NO second drink or dessert was purchased (two big profit-generators), and a decades-long loyal (and Rewards Program) customer (more on that in a sec) with a seriously soured experience who is now whining online about it!!! Bottom line: MANAGEMENT, now hear this: do whatever it takes to hire more help, which is probably the main solution!!! (And about the Rewards Program matter: I couldn’t even get the dang tabletop gadget to do anything but log me in, to the point that I’m pretty sure that the stupid thing didn’t even grant me any points for the whole lame...
Read moreStopped by for a late lunch, Celebration with my husband. I'm so happy we did. The service here is absolutely AMAZING, always! And the food is fresh and delicious.
Big shared parking lot, clean restaurant, good food, and great prices.
As we walked in Jenny welcomed us. She was super attentive not to mention she had a huge smile on her face. As soon as our table was ready she sat us down (literally 5 min).
Jose (Bartender) greeted us with cheddar bay biscuits (if you haven't tried them, its a must). He was super sweet and patient with my husband and I asked about almost every drink on the menu. He did such an amazing job multitasking (busy area).
Ronda the Manager stepped in she was amazing! Her service and attention to detail was such a refreshing experience. When you receive service that comes across as genuine, your experience is automatically enhanced by 100 percent!
We had an array of dishes:
Ronda, being as awesome as can be, invited us to a tasting of The Creamy Potato Bacon Soup was hearty and delicious. I'm not a huge potato fan but this is a must-try. The bacon added that great rich fatty element, yum!
My Husband ordered Crispy Sriracha-Honey Shrimp. The shrimp was cooked to perfection. The crisp was just perfect and the seasonings used for the batter were just right. Filling.
After going back and forth and not being sure of what I was craving. Ronda suggested putting together a dish I mentioned Spicy, chicken, rice, & shrimp.
and guess what?
That's exactly what was made!
Thank you, Rob (Chef). The chicken was thick and juicy, spiced just right. The shrimp was full of flavor and cooked to perfection. Truly comforting.
Thank you Ronda, for such an amazing afternoon, you and your team are truly the best. 5 stars...
Read moreI haven’t been to red lobster in years but decided to go yesterday because my daughter graduated and I let her choose the restaurant. An older lady was our original server. I asked for chips and salsa ( Once again I haven’t been to red lobster in forever) She tells me they don’t have that. We’re not Mexican. It’s not what you say but how you say it. After that her vibe was just off. She came back and provided us with our drinks. I inquired about more bread and she started telling me about how long she’s been working in this industry as if I offended her because she had already brought more bread out. I didn’t realize she did but once again it’s not what you say but how you say it. Then as she was talking spit flew out of her mouth. GROSSSS! Every time she brought something out she slammed it. My daughter said thank you and she got ignored. I asked to be moved to another table because I’m not about to feel uncomfortable dealing with someone who wants to be passive aggressive. I’m not stupid and for as long as she has supposedly work in the industry and as old as she is she should know better. I was told Brittney would bring our food out but the older lady took it upon herself to come to our section that was hers to bring it. Now we all know what people like to do when they get complained on when dining in or ordering food. I found that strange. If she did do anything to my food…Karma is ugly and it doesn’t forget. I tipped what I did only because the guy was nice enough to move us and the new waitress gave us to-go biscuits. Red lobster just gives the new sizzler/hometown buffet. Brittney was nice ( New waiter ) but overall the customer service was TRASH, but it’s red lobster not my usual...
