Bella's Bakery — Restaurant in Lathrop

I live here in EG. Few years ago, this bakery was mentioned to me by a family friend. The drive is 45 minutes but it did not bother me. Both my husband and I went and check it out. I started liking their white bread (which is called pandesal). Their Spanish roll and Kababayan is very delicious. I am always tempted to buy more than 10 bags and give share some of them to my family and friends. Since it is a long drive sometimes I buy more than 10 bags and leave them in the freezer. Love their baked goods. Our family has been going there for years; however if you pay by debit or credit card ASK FOR A RECEIPT. My total was $24.45, like it has been for many visits. Charged my debit & did not get a receipt bc I’ve been there many times why waste the paper, right. Realized after the fact that they added a $4 tip totaling $28.45. I do not care about the additional $4, but i do care about being cheated. I hope the $4 was worth it because you lost a valuable customer. I make a pick up for my girlfriend and her group at work at Stanford. I try not to eat much sweets. She has fantastic shape! They only order this one Filipino item there called, Kabayan. So good they have been driving 70 miles one way monthly for years on a Saturday. I now live in the area. So,of course I have become the designated driver and pick up "weekly", lol!
