The woman at the counter was extremely rude to me when I asked for my receipt. This was my FIRST and my LAST time coming into this place! I enjoyed my food, it was really good, but when I asked for my receipt she just told me my the price. It was 18.00. I thought that was high for a waffle, 2 eggs, bacon and a coffee. When I looked at the menu that MATH WASNT MATHING, and that's why I asked for my receipt. She made a huge fuss about it then I did my own math and it came out way lower. She said 0.70 was an extra charge for my eggs being overhard. That's not what it says on the menu. She handed me my receipt and it had no actual prices on it. So I was like mam there are no prices on the receipt. I have to take pictures of all my reciepts for work purposes for itemized items. She then proceeded to tell me that why am I arguing with her? I calmy said mam all i am doing is asking for my receipt and for her to write the info on the receipt correctly. She then insulted me and said you dont know how to do math?! ME AS A BUSINESS OWNER I WOULD NEVER WALK OUT ON A TAB ESEPCIALLY FOR UNDER 20.00. She was busy giving out the food to other customers when I said I will wait for her to fix my reciept. She told me that the company doesn't need my money and to just walk out, free breakfast from God. I wonder how much money this company has lost with her being in the front and giving away product. The owners definitely need to put a help wanted sign ASAP. This is the prime reason why people don't support black owned businesses due to HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. PLEASE OWNER FEEL FREE TO CALL ME I AM STILL WILLING TO PAY...

I have dined here before. The last time I came here, I ordered a burger with fries. The burger was the size of a breakfast sausage patty and the bun was tiny also. I said that I would never go back, but I did today. I am a pretty small woman, so it doesn't take a lot to fill me. When I tell you that their portions are small, that is an understatement. Today I ordered liver and onions. They gave me a thin short slice of liver with a small scoop of each side which came out to 17 dollars and change. The liver is cheap in the stores. Price gouging to its highest form. I could have gone anywhere else for less than that price and got far more of a portion than that. I have paid for steak dinners in that price range. Why do black restaurant owners steal from their people? I will not recommend this place to anyone. And the food is not good. With those prices, the place should look much better than it does also. Just sad..... I am contacting the BBB, and also speak to some friends in high places about this hole in the wall for sure. Spoons Grill & restaurant serves better food and the prices are far better. Don't know how in the hell they have 4 stars unless the staff is...

Horrible!! My last few experiences here were not so great, but I decided to give them another try due to the fact of my breakfast spot being closed on Tuesdays. Should’ve just went home and ate cereal!! The customer service is disgusting!!! The women always have attitudes. They should make it a male only breakfast spot since that’s all they care to service! Mind you, I called my order in. Got there waited about 10 minutes before somebody even said anything or acknowledge me. Then this dude walked in after me and the girl went straight to him asking him could she help him.  Waited for his food to be ready and proceeds to check him out before checking me out with my food sitting right in front of me waiting to be cashed out.
