Today I placed an online order for pick-up which is something I do quite frequently($17). When I arrived at this Wawa location my daughter and I went inside to purchase additional items, candy lemonade etc.($20). We payed and then went to pick up our sandwiches. I waited for someone to help me however even though there were approximately 6 employees no one came to the register. I got the attention of an employee and told her my name and informed her I'm picking up an online order. She then proceeded to pass me two subs that was sitting on the counter. I asked her for a bag to carry my subs. She told me the bag she had in her hand was not form me. Another employee that was next to her had a brown paper bag in her hand and I said I need one of those bags. Your employee told me I cannot have a bag it's for Uber pick up only and to go to the register and ask for a bag. Now why do I have to walk across the store for a bag for my online order? Why was my sandwiches given to me without a bag? What am I supposed to do with my subs, go to my car throw the subs in the backseat or trunk and drive home while it's rolling around? I spent around $40 at this Wawa location and I can't even get a paper bag for my food? I have placed online orders before and when I went in to pick up my food it was in a bag. Now when I was driving home while my subs were just laying on my backseat, leaking vinager all over my seat I see 3 kids that just got out school walking with the same brown bag i asked your employees for. I highly doubt they were Uber drivers. I am highly dissatisfied with the employees at this location. The fact I just spent approximately $40 at this Wawa location and I couldn't even get a recyclable brown paper bag for my food is...
Read moreI had to return a sandwich that was thrown together with barely any toppings on it. A woman asked if she could help rectify the situation and give me a refund and only made the situation worse. As I’m talking to her asking why does the guy making my sandwich have an attitude she said he doesn’t speak any English. How am I supped to communicate with a person preparing my food that can’t even speak a little bit of English. It seems like she got offend because I asked that. I put my food down on the counter and this woman said don’t toss ur food at me. I asked her if she knew the difference of someone tossing food at her and putting something down. Ma’am u are standing all the way behind a counter and register, where I put my food down was no where near u. I had hot soup in that bag. Surely if I threw it at u, you would know. She proceeds to escalate the situation even more by saying she can’t help me anymore and calls someone else over. I had absolutely no problem with her. Not sure where it went left but her customer service is horrible. Maybe the guy who makes the sandwiches is her boyfriend because I can’t understand why she was so offended. I asked the manager what her name was and she said Erica. Please retrain Erica and give her some anger management. If she’s not having a good day, send her home. Her negative attitude is messing up customer service. She didn’t even offer for the guy to make another sandwich before she offered a refund. So she cares nothing about keeping customers happy. I will never buy food...
Read moreWow, what a difference between afternoon and evening shifts here at this Wawa location. I have been going into this Wawa for the past few months and have enjoyed their subs and panini sandwiches. The first couple of months were great, I would go get a custom panini or sub every couple of days and was even guided by one of the managers on how the special order/instructions button worked, so that I can fully have my meal costumed to enjoy it the way I would like. As I stated, the first couple months were great, up until this last month. Not only has the quality of the meals gone down, but the customer service has become very lazy, standoffish and for what every reason, “the food area associates get upset if you ask them a question. The last few times I have gone in, it was after 4 or 5:00 pm and they just completely ignore the special order given to them and the sandwich quality was so bad, I had to toss it after the first bite. It really sucks when a few associates just stop caring about their job, because they either hate their job and/or duties or let their personal stuff gets in the way. It is really a shame Wawa; your evening shift employee’s needs a massive training overhaul. In the meantime, anyone looking for a good meal at Wawa in the evening time, I would not go to...
