We came to Laurel,MS in Dec 2017 and we were running errands got hungry and we chose to go to the DQ there on MS 15 how could you go wrong right...WRONG! First of all try parking in their parking lot with a Ford F-350...a slug bug no problem. Well I kept telling my husband uh honey I don't think you should attempt to park in that lot and suggested to park across the street. He being handicapped and head strong said I got this...well needless to say after backing in, out, in, out he got it, that was the tightest handicap parking spot I've ever seen. We then go inside to order. He ordered the special and I had the banana sundae. They bring our order out we said 'THANK YOU'. We look down ready to eat, he looks at me, I look at him and we just lost it. We laughed so loud, so hard thinking it was a joke. A med size cup of vanilla ice cream and 1 banana on the side. Needless to say we shared the ice cream and took the nanna with us. We were used to a smashed banana topping smothered over the ice cream much easier to eat and much more enjoyable. Don't think we will try any more...

He makes it a point to get to know his repeat customers and remember their names, coming out of the kitchen to check how your meal was and to make light conversation. I always thought that was really nice of him, as busy as he must be. The rest of his staff are always very friendly as well. His store is clean and always well stocked, I don't believe we've ever been told "sorry we're all out" I'm sure it does happen from time to time and maybe we've been lucky but my family has been coming here for years and it just simply has not happened to us. I think this speaks to the management's dedication and attention to detail!. When a restaurant's food and service is questionable, we simply do not return. That's never been the case with Laurel's Dairy Queen Grill & Chill. If it were in the future, our past experiences here would warrant notifying the manager, as we know he would rectify the situation. After placing an online order for an ice cream cake on Thursday and receiving confirmation we were told they did not have our order. The manager said he ādidnt see the orderā. We then asked if we purchased a cake from the freezer could we get a discount due to their mistake. He said NO you arenāt getting a discount. He made no attempt to rectify the situation and then yelled and cussed at my husband to which he of course cussed back. The manager then banned him but donāt worry buddy we will never be back to another Dairy...
