It is 7/02/2023 and currently 1:35 pm (I've been in line since 1pm)...I don't know who is taking orders or what is going on, but the line has been ridiculously slow today—and because of how Wendy's has the driveway constructed, you CANNOT even leave; you are literally stuck in the line! I know the driveway is purposely built this way to deter customers from leaving without buying anything, but...it really just makes me not want to buy anything all the more and could actually be considered a fire hazard, since people can't just drive away. Anyway, I'll write more when I get my order....
So—after being put on hold twice—I got my order and I am disappointed; food was right, but I asked for extra condiments and they were out; plus, this "medium" I ordered, is most definitely smaller than they used to be...my family and I have visited Wendy's in different states for years, so I would know—If this is their medium now, I can only imagine what a "small" is.
It is now 1:52pm and after nearly an hour long wait, eating a very dry salad, having a smaller frosty than what I thought I paid for, and spending nearly $20 for my order...I do not see myself coming back to this Wendy's for a while or at all.
I dont know what was going on today during my visit, but between not even having the option to leave after waiting for such a long time and the lack of quality for what you pay for...it was a mess and I do not recommend it. Please do better—If for some reason I do visit again and see improvements from today, I will...
Read moreAh, Wendy's, a bastion of the fast-food industry, a place where one can find sustenance amidst the chaos of modern life. Stepping into a Wendy's restaurant is akin to entering a realm of efficiency and standardization, a testament to the power of systems and processes.
The menu, much like the structure of a well-ordered society, offers a variety of choices that cater to the diverse preferences of its patrons. From the iconic square burgers, a defiance of the traditional circular shape, to the crisp and refreshing salads, Wendy's presents options that speak to the individualism of its clientele.
However, much like the human condition, Wendy's is not without its flaws. The service, though generally efficient, can at times be a tad sluggish, a reminder that we exist in a world of imperfection. The quality of the food itself can be inconsistent across different locations, a reflection of the variability inherent in human nature.
In essence, Wendy's embodies the balance between order and chaos, a constant struggle we encounter in our daily lives. It serves as a metaphor for the challenges we face in striving for excellence while acknowledging our limitations.
Thus, I give Wendy's a 3-star rating. It is a reflection of the reality that we must navigate through the imperfect world, finding solace in the familiar comforts of a fast-food chain while recognizing that true excellence lies beyond the confines of the...
Read moreHorrible experience. The wait was a little long to order, which is understandable on a Sunday afternoon, but for even worse. We placed our order and were told to go to the window while still trying to finish and get the total. Then when we got to the window the gentlemen at the window was trying to give us a key ring for the free frosty that we already had and said while placing the order. Looking at the receipt while moving to the next window I noticed they forgot to include two small orders of fries. Ok, got to the window and said had to add on two fries. They gave us the bag of burgers. We asked for one with no pickles, one with no onions. Looking under both buns, saw pickles on both. Send one back to ask for no pickles with onions. Wait forever to get the new burger and the two fries. Start pulling out of drive through and open the burger with on onions on it and take a bite to realize, there is NO MEAT on my burger!!!!! Really people?!?!?!?! Then have to pull into a spot, go in, explain the problem and wait again for a burger that literally looked thrown together. Needless to say, very dissatisfied with this...
