Just started eating at Zaxbys. The chicken is great and eat here M-F for lunch. My second time at this location there was a roach in my Cobb zalad i took it back to the store and they refunded me and apologized with no issue. Yes i continued to eat there because I’m here for job training and when it comes to lunch zaxbys is my best option. Today May 28,2019 at around 12:15 I came there for lunch and ordered a garden zalad and 5 pieces traditional wing. At the bottom of my zalad was a piece of hair and i took it to the front and the manager Tammy who has been there for 13 years was very rude she said let me get my glasses cause i can’t see it, she got her glasses and still acted as if she couldn’t see it so a customer standing in the order line pointed it out to her cause she saw it also. I have never experienced any customer service like that she was loud and aggressive and said to me “ what do you want? You money back or are you going to put us on social media” 1. i don’t believe in publicly shaming businesses that is childish 2.It happens. She than told me she doesn’t want me to come back. I spend about $85 a week there and I felt offended because i could have showed everyone in the restaurant what was in my food but I didn’t. I asked for the customer care number she told me I can talk to her district manager. I talked to him and he was very personable and he listened to my concerns. I place an online order at like 8:30 (my bad, thought they closed at 10 not 9) and I get there at exactly 8:58 and my husband goes in to get the food - doors locked. Try to go in the drive thru - closed. I had already paid. We call three times and finally get an answer. Whoever answered the phone told me they threw it out because they had closed and we didn't show up. My husband tried to be nice and explain that we were here before they closed. He started being rude so I took the phone and asked for a refund. He said "I've already closed everything" so I would have to come back tomorrow for a refund. I told him that was unacceptable, as I didn't get my food or my money back, I ain't giving zaxbys $20 just because. He started laughing at me and refused to give me any sort of contact or name of who I should ask for tomorrow to get my refund. Extremely disappointed, will never return.
