First, I'm going to say that I do like the subs and salads at Subway. But I think this should be addressed. I have 2 complaints, unfortunately. I've been with customer service for 23 years, so I know that customers are number 1 with any type of business. I went to Subway on my lunch break and walked in. There was one older lady waiting to make her order. As soon as I walked in, an employee said, "It's going to be awhile. We have 11 subs to make. " I said, 'You can't get us first?" She said,'No ma'am, I can't." Then lastly, I said,"That's not right. That's crazy!" There's enough employees there that someone could have made 2 more subs. Especially since we were in- person customers. That is not how anyone should treat their customers. Ok, now for the second complaint. And this is especially disappointing. I ordered a 6-inch tuna salad sub on wheat bread. As I was eating, I bit into a piece of metal or may have been a piece of the can that the tuna was stored in. It was silver and really hard. If I swallowed that, we would have a very, very bad day. I got out of my chair and showed an employee the piece of metal and told her that I had bit into it. I said, "You may want to check the tuna salad." She just looked at me and said "Sorry". There was no concern on her face. She returned to the customers and did not even pull out the container that the tuna was in. I hope no one after me had any issues because that could really hurt someone. Again, I do like Subway, but I felt I didn't need to let this go without it being said....
Read moreI'll preface my review by stating that I haven't eaten at a Subway in several years. I have found many other sandwich options that I much prefer, so I quit going to Subway all together. However, they had a new sandwich out that I wanted to try, so off I went.
I chose to eat inside the dining room. The restaurant was very clean, and the staff was welcoming and friendly. I will point out that there was some sort of management or supervisor in the dining room speaking with employees one-on-one. How this may have affected the usual crew habits I can not know. Either way, I was greeted and served quickly and graciously.
On to the bad part - the sandwich itself was awful. It was made exactly how I had ordered it, but the majority of the ingredients were just not good. Subway has never been known for food quality, but they must have taken a nose dive in the last couple of years. The vegetables were all of this slightly dry, obviously pre-bagged quality. The bread had this weird, overly chewy consistency. The chicken was the worst. The chunks had many large pieces of gristle, and they were all of the mushy, not quite real meat variety you can get in those cheap bags of pre-made chicken chunks from the grocery store.
The cookie and drink were the only palatable items. All this for just under $10. No thanks, Subway. You are still just as I...
Read moreThe salad i got was amazing, the service from the person who made it was above and beyond exceptional! Only reason it's four stars is because all of the staff was working hard to work together to get orders out and the person who rang up orders didn't act like she wanted to be part of the team?! We didn't get our cups because she didnt give them to us after my daughter paid. Then we all just grabbed bottled drinks because I'm guessing she didn't know where the cups were. Think she must have been new and wasn't taught enough yet to be brought on the frontlines. Would love to go back and see how much she has learned in a few more days! Team work makes the dream work! Everyone had smiling faces and that's always great to see! 😁keep up...
