La Michoacana Premium — Restaurant in Lawndale

After hearing many recommendations about how tasty the food is at LA Michoacana, my family decided to try it.

Worst decision ever!! As soon as I walked in, no one greeted us or asked if we needed help. I then proceeded to ask the gentleman working there if he had a menu and all he said was "no". He did not offer me and help or an recommendations. Just simply said no and walked away. It seemed to me like no one was happy to be there. There were another two ladies there who we later asked to buy a Gatorade from and after telling her 7 times I wanted a Gatorade, she kept pretending she didn't understand, mind you we spoke English and Spanish. We also asked for a plate for our food and it seemed like it was also a hassle for them to give us a plate. The tables we wanted to sit on where all dirty, none of them had been wiped down and we were the only costumers in there at the moment. I am not one to complain, but I must say the costumer service is terrible, terrible, terrible. It's very sad that people that are having bad days are able to take it out on others. The staff made us all feel like we were not wanted there and they made it seem as they didn't want to be there eighter I will never come to this location again, even though the food was good. Despite reading negative reviews, my family and I had a wonderful experience. The staff was friendly, the dining area was clean, and the ice cream was simply delicious.
