Piggie's Restaurants — Restaurant in Lawndale

I have been a loyal customer at this restaurant for quite some time, visiting at least twice a week. However, my recent experience was beyond disappointing. The service was horrendous, my food was cold, and when I brought it to the manager's attention, he handled the situation in an unprofessional manner.

Instead of providing me with new food as promised, the manager simply placed my original plate back on the grill after running his hand over it. When I refused to accept the reheated food, he became defensive and refused to refund my money.

To make matters worse, when my new plate finally arrived, I discovered that the piece of bread I had previously pinched off was still there, covered up with extra cinnamon and sugar. When I brought this to the manager's attention, he became angry and refused to rectify the situation.

The manager's behavior was completely unacceptable and I was appalled by his lack of professionalism. I ultimately had to threaten to involve the authorities in order to receive a refund. This experience was not only unsatisfactory, but also unsanitary. I will not be returning to this establishment and would caution others to steer...

Last night I went into Piggies Charbroiled Burgers dining room. I ordered 3 burgers combos, and paid for it on cash app, total came to like $37. It came with fries and cokes. I was so excited because I had not eaten at Piggies in like 25 years, and I remember the food was awesome! I got my order, walked to the sidewalk, luckilyI saw a Lyft car, so I flagged him to me, and he pulled over and picked me up. I was stoked to get the food to my family, while it was hot, to my house, in Lawndale. When I got home, I passed the food out, sat down, and started eating my burger. There was NO burger! It was like a half pound of shredded lettuce, sauce, and melted cheese on a small hamburger bun. The wrapper that my shit was wrapped in was heavy, all lettuce, agua, sauce,and bun! The coke tasted foul, like the machine had not been cleaned in a long time! My people were eating. I said, "Man, there is not even any meat on this thing!" I could not believe it! My roommate is so cool, but she said there was no meat on hers either. I feel like the generations of Family, who used to run this place, are being disrespected,...

Food was meh at best Called in my order, told the young man who answered I was on my way, he stated, "Your order will be ready in 15-20 minutes." Ok, maybe they're busy, understandable. I head over, arrive, except for a family of 4 dining in, restaurant is cricket chirping empty. First guy I see, I assume he's the chef, looks up and rolls his eyes before turning his back to me. Another guy comes out and waves me over with irritation to the window he's standing at, glaring at me like I kicked his puppy... I go ahead and greet him anyway and tell him that I called in a phone order and gave him my name... THIS joker reaches literally next to him and hands me a bag with my order So....if I'd waited 15-20 minutes my food would've been cold?!
