Flamin Feathers — Restaurant in Lawrence Township

Ive had two visits, first visit was within the first two weeks this place opened and we dined in. I had the hot chicken sandwich and my wife had the hot chicken tacos and we shared loaded fries. The hot chicken was just one small tender but the sandwhich overall was flavorful and the chicken great. The hot chicken tacos were excellent very tasty. Again tacos excellent!!! Loaded fries were good no complaints. Before we left i spoke to the owner very nice guy. I let him know about the the hot chicken sandwich and about the tender being small for the price. He said that they are working with a new staff and they just opened and working out the kinks. And i understand thats why my reviews mostly only come after two visits. He did say next time try the burger. Today was our second visit and it was take out. I got the regular double patty burger. My wife got the single patty burger. And shes not a big beef person and loved the burger! And actually said it was so good its the only place she will get a burger going forward. We also got the coleslaw which was good needed a bit more mayo vingar but thats personal preference. The burgers are next level, arguably the best in the area. Excellent, taste of beef and the over all burger very flavorful. This place is now are go to for burgers! Overall flaming feathers is excellent quality food! I personally think a still bit higher in price, but the quality of the chicken, and burgers is a step above every other place in the area. The boss walked in on me!!!

JK. Just got out of the DMV and was going to go grab a $1.50 hot dog at Costco. But found this place on Google Map. Wife likes chicken and waffle so I had to take her.

We ended up over-ordered.

I don’t go to any joint for burgers, even Shake Shack. But I got the one with mushroom topping. They use brioche buns! The fries were crispy as hell. Wife had the waffle chicken sandwich. All were made on demand. The Mac and cheese and coleslaw sides were massive.

What made it enjoyable for me is that one of the owners was super friendly. My back was turned to them, but I could tell he’s the boss. He walked in and asked his employees how they were. Later, he explained to me how they decided on the Nashville theme and Nashville styled chicken.

My friends and I ran into this spot after a conference and we’re so glad we did! The food was amazing! It truly tasted fresh and it did not feel heavy at all. Not only that, but the process of ordering and having our food brought to our table was a very smooth process. On our way out, there was a man thanking us for coming and asked us about our experience with the food and place. We didn’t even realize he was the owner until he told us after a few sentences in. This just shows you that even the staff are down to bring high quality service to their customers and value their input on the food and overall time there. Nj definitely has a gem of a place!
