My friends and I have been wanting to go out and try the cheesecake factory for a while now because the majority has not been before. We went as a large group of 13 people making two separate reservations for ourselves. One group consisted of 5 persons and the other of 8. The waiter immediately came to take our drink order where we order 2 glasses of water and 3 sodas. The waiter then proceeded to bring 4 sodas and 1 water, messing up the first order placed within the night. The waiter after bringing the drinks then asked what we would like to order, mind you a total of 5 minutes have past, and then proceeded to talk over our answer with an immediate follow up of need more time. We ended up just shaking our heads in agreeance allowing for the clearly irritated server to be on his way. Some more time elapsed and finally we get our order sorted out. More time elapses until the waiter comes back and we put our orders in, then we ask if he needed any of them repeated. He said "no" and heads off. 10 min goes by and he appears once again because he wanted to confirm and order from which we added he needed any repeated, but that's either he not there. We ended up getting out food and being really happy with how it tasted and would recommend going as long as 2 servers are not working that day. Needless to say everything we asked for seemed to burden the waiter and the only time he would come to our table after taking the orders is when we actively sought him out. For the vast majority of the time we went without drinks because the waiter never showed up to offer a refill or a temperature check of the table to see how we were doing throughout the night. The time I finally caught the server and asked for the simple request of bringing 4 waters he brought 3 and 2 more sodas that nobody ordered. The final time I saw this server I asked for the bill and he almost immediately brought it and once again disappeared. The bill was a grand total of 165 so we decided to split it 5 ways and pay 32 and some change each. This posed a problem for the server who took a significant amount of time to split it, upwards of what felt like 10 minutes. Eventually I gave up waiting and went over to see what the problem was, where I was greeted by a new server with an even worse attitude and presentation of their self. The waitress was tall and of a darker complexion. She ended up splitting the bill and pocketing our change of rough 7 dollars and some coins. The waitress then came to pick up the undeserved tip for her colleague. When asked about the change she made a huge stink playing the victim and only handing over 6 dollars. She then proceeded to pull out the tip we had left on the table yelling at us the 15 percent tip we had left was not 20 percent and again played the victim. If these are the are the servers representing the company the company should be ashamed. The fact that a employee who was tipped generous 15 percent for borderline no service and hostility the entire night would make a scene for stealing change that had not been given for any other use than to pay the bill is an atrocious person and employee to have resent the face of...
Read moreI’ve dined in at Cheesecake many times so I honestly didn’t expect anything to go south as every other time I go there, food is as usual, drinks are good. Nothing to complain. That is until I’ve gone to this location.
So I ordered the skinny chopped salad and my friend ordered the same thing but she wanted her chicken to be crispy. Waitress said NP. Some time had gone by and she brought out the 2 salads. At the time, I was still picking at my app so I wasn’t paying attention to the salad. Until my friend looked at it and said “wait I thought you ordered chicken with yours” I looked down at the salad and it was missing the chicken. I thought maybe they pre sliced it and had it mixed with the salad. So I took my fork and swirl around in the salad looking for my chicken. It wasn’t there.
I flagged down a different server to call for our server since I haven’t seen her. And this male waiter said “are you sure it’s not there?” I said no and showed him. He looked for our waitress and she came by. Our waitress looked at the salad and again said “check the bottom of the salad, sometimes the chef puts it at the bottom” I showed her the bottom of the bowl and there was no chicken. At this point I was kinda annoyed because first of all, why would the chicken be at the bottom of the salad. And second of all, I told and showed the previous male waiter that there was no chicken. So she said “I apologize and I’ll have the kitchen fix it” She then took my bowl and returned it looking as pictured…with literally small scraps pieces of chicken meanwhile my friend got a whole chicken breast on top of her salad.
I was appalled because I’ve not once had any bad experiences with cheesecake. Not with the service, the food, or even the drinks. Safe to say I will not return to this...
Read moreMy girlfriend and I have been to this location a couple times. Both times they didn’t have the crab and artichoke dip. Fine, that’s a coincidence. But both times we also noticed that it would take a very long time for our drinks to come and for someone to check in on us for more drinks. Not sure if they’re short staffed or if this is maybe a lack of training. Now some people would say, well maybe they’re busy. And yes, the second time we went they were. It was a Saturday night. The first time though, there was barely anyone there. To help with this, I think they should have an order system through a website or tablet on the table to help eliminate having to try and flag someone down because they’re not checking in on the table. This last part though is really why I’m giving 1 star. My girlfriend and I were given a table that is technically two tables together. But it was clearly meant for us. A waitress, who wasn’t waiting on our table, comes over to us in the middle of us using the table and eating and asks if we could remove our stuff from the table and if she could have it. I wanted to say no but I was in such shock that we let her have it. She watches us and proceeds to help pile plates onto the one small table and thought that this was okay. She proceeds to slide the table over to the people next to us…. AND THEY DONT EVEN USE THE TABLE. It was so rude. Our waiter didn’t even acknowledge what happened but clearly saw there was one less table. There was some other things that also occurred that just compiled onto this bad experience. Moral of the story, prices of the food are fairly decent. But I don’t go out to eat just for food. Going out to me is an experience. And I think there’s very basic things to expect when going out to eat. If you go here, expect...
