Modern Fusion — Restaurant in Lawrence Township

I only became aware of this place when I received a menu in the mail. I have lived in the area for over 15yrs trying to find a restaurant with Chinese food that matches the taste and flavors of the one I grew up eating located in Somerset. I have remained disappointed all this time until now! First order was the pork fried rice, shrimp dumpling, egg roll and fried crab puffs. The egg roll was OK, the dumpling and crab puffs were very good, but the real test was the pork fried rice. It was excellent! Tasted exactly how I like it prepared! The food here is hit or miss- when it’s a hit, it’s just ok but when it’s a miss, it’s abysmal. The texture of the fish is too tough and gross at times, but most noteworthy of all: their service is absolute trash. They fail to follow order instructions, fail to make it right when you call then to complain about a mistake (I always take this option before posting a review because everyone makes mistakes…) which has happened on 3 out of 10 orders, are super rude, and don’t care about their customers. My husband and I order here at least two times a week for two or three months but after our last experience, we will never be back. Save your money and aggravation and get Roots in Princeton, Soya for sushi burrito or poke bowls, or Tsubaki in Hightstown instead. What I ordered: Roti Kanai and Teriyaki Chicken I felt both the items were average in taste. Roti Kanai was completely dipped in oil and the chicken were mashed with hint of sweet taste. I had better Roti Kanai then this. Teriyaki Chicken was OK as well, it comes with bowl of rice but the taste was all right. It could be better if the chicken was well cooked in other words it was undercooked. Vegetables were tasty. So would I miss or crave for the food from Element Asia?
