The tall black kid they have cooking there totally messed up our meal. He didn''t even care. No apology for it. He just acted as if he was refusing to hear what I was saying....like nothing happened. Totally messed it up on purpose. He gave my brothers strip steak to another person that had ordered filet, and then didn't even have a steak for my brother. Then when I pointed it out, he had them bring two more steaks. He asked my brother how he wanted his steak cooked and my brother said medium rare. This guy proceeded to over cook hell out of it. I looked at my brother and said didn't you want it medium rare? Then I had ordered scallops and shrimp and he overcooked the hell of of them too. The whole thing was a mess... on the way to the hotel, we were wondering what to eat. right in front of the hotel? Kobes. We had a show to go to, but damn--worth being a lil late for the opener as their simple, traditional fare was quite impressive. Miso and salad were fire. all the cuts were clean. minor issues with getting salmon instead of tuna roll. But their tempura snapper was amazing. The fact we couldnt sit at the bar and eat veggie tempura all night was the one downside. i would have spent like 40 more dollars in there if they had veggie tempura, because it is a family tradition (the first solid food i ate, im prettys sure). so i ask humbly: when i come back, please have bar seating and veggie tempura. i would be all about it and have to give...

Food was subpar. My salad was frozen when it was brought out to me. They didn’t have options for dressing and when the main course was served, no yum yum or shrimp sauce. What kind of Japanese steakhouse doesn’t have shrimp sauce?!! Ugh!!! Had I known they don’t serve yum yum sauce I wouldn’t have wasted my time or money to go. The food was not worth not dipping it in yum yum sauce, quite frankly it’s badly needed for the taste! Food wasn’t sesoned properly. The sushi wasn’t rolled properly, it fell apart as soon as we tried to pick it up. Needless to say this is by far the worst hibachi experience I’ve ever had. Food is terrible! We won’t be returning! So not worth the $$$$...
