I had a very negative experience in store this morning. I had originally ordered pickup through the drive thru, but saw the drive thru was packed, so decided to walk in to see if they could do pick up inside instead. I stood at the counter for 5-6 minutes before I was acknowledged. But, I wasn't acknowledged to order, one of the employees came up to me and asked me if I was Christina and walked away as I was talking to find Christina. He came back up to the to the counter to put something in to the register, but never acknowledged I was there again. I left, and called the store to cancel the order, and I assume the same person picked up the phone and said "oh, are you the person in the dress who was in the store" and told me I needed to come back in to cancel the order and was generally unhelpful. The staff was also super rude to each other, and it didn't look like a good environment to be in. I get that things are super busy, but it was an overall negative experience. Read moreI had a watered down latte. Had to go home and brew an extra strong cup in my french press. Was not worth the money spent at all. Seems to be the case at any Starbucks which is why I don't go anymore. I was traveling and I had a long drive and I was very tired so I wanted a cup of coffee. 🤔
I had stopped earlier at a location in Indiana and it was fire. At that location, the barista walked over because he noticed that I was a little tired and having a difficult time deciding on what to choose. He asked me what I needed. I told him I still had a 10-hour drive ahead and I was trying to decide which coffee to get. He made a suggestion and I took it. It was the best suggestion and probably the best coffee I've ever had at Starbucks. When I landed here in Lawrence, my destination, I was hoping for a great cup but they failed to deliver that. The coffee is too pricey to be bad.

Read moreI’m a near daily customer at this location. For the most part the employees are very welcoming and nice. I usually don’t get anything very fancy, just a coffee. I can tell when the coffee has been sitting too long or a new batch needs to be made. Unfortunately, this is happening more and more. I think, with no real evidence to back this up, that it’s probably when there’s not a manager there. I’ve asked before to get another one made with quite literally them adding hot water to my coffee with the employee arguing with me. So I didn’t ask today when I got a luke warm batch. It was disappointing but I just took it home to microwave it so now it tastes burnt. I know there’s a lot more to worry about in this world but I like my routine and just wish the quality was a little more consistent. Maybe I need a new...
