There seems to be some serious quality controls issues at this specific location. Staff is friendly, prices are fine, and when the product is prepared properly, it's not bad at all.
That said, I've been here only three times, and two of those experiences I've been served spoiled milk.
The first time I assumed it was a fluke, one of two drinks came out sour, and the staff had no problem correcting that. I should mention the first correction was also sour, and it seemed like we testing if their milk was spoiled for them. However, the third attempt was perfectly fine.
Second time I went there, no issues. Three drink orders; all of them were okay.
This afternoon I went back. Pulling out of the lot I noticed another drink was tasting off, but assuming the first time was still a fluke, I figured I just didn't care for the latte I was trying out. By the time I got home, a lot of the ice had melted, and I quickly saw curdled milk floating to top of the drink. Disgusted, I had no choice but to just throw out the whole thing.
I'm sure the staff would again have no issue replacing my drink, but it should not be on me to deduce whether or not spoiled ingredients were used in preparing my order. It's frustrating, because apart from this, I've found everything else more than on par with competing coffee spots. In the morning rush to get to work I left early so I could get coffee from Dutch bros which is across town. Once I got there already there were about 8 cars waiting ahead of me and only one person taking orders. I’ve been here before when I had time to wait the 20 minutes. But 20 minutes should not be the standard! I haven’t had issues with other locations. So why are they so understaffed? Wouldn’t be a big issue if I wasn’t paying $10+ for a drink. I placed an order on the app and got there a couple of minutes before the designated pick up time and there was about 5 cars in line in front of me. I had to wait about 20 minutes in line to pick up my drink. I would have just left but it was already paid for. The girl at the window was incredibly rude and I was late for work. Sorry Dutch Bros, if there’s even two cars in the line when I drive by I just continue to drive on by. What’s the point of ordering ahead if you still have to wait in a long line to get your prepaid drink?
