Skyline Chili — Restaurant in Lawrenceburg Township

I was overcharged $25.00 because of a typographical error on their keyboard 3 weeks ago. The manager said he would refund the money after getting an ok from his manager. After three weeks I have still yet to receive my $25.00 so either they have no intention of refunding my money or I was lied to. Either way I do not recommend going to this locatio. I understand that there are just loyal customers that don't care if they are ripped off but it is clear that the manager is not going to keep his word. After three weeks there is no excuse for not refunding my money. Words can't express how dissappointed I am that the manager can't keep his word. I will never go back to this place again. It is a true lack of professionalism and sad that people just can't own up to a mistake. I surely hope they choke on my money cause apparently they need it so badly. It's bad enough their food costs as much as it does but then to rip you off too is the ultimate insult. Update ... I was contacted by Matt an owner or manager and was promised a check in the mail. 7 days later still no refund. This is so horribly incompetent and inconsiderate that this could not be handled in a more timely and friendly manner. I know there are a lot of people that enjoy skyline but if you could enjoy it at another location because the Lawrenceburg location is poorly run and all they care about is getting your money.

Update.... Finally received refund. Was promised 3 to 5 business days and it took 34 days and to make matters worse the memo on the check says ( Overtip Fund ).... I tipped that day in cash. So they robbed the waitress and waiters to pay for THEIR mistake... Do you still really want to...

This afternoon, while I was spending some time with my parents we decided that some delicious skyline chili would really hit the spot for lunch. Mom, being vegetarian for health reasons, grimaced at first but soon decided on a black bean burrito, hold the cheese and sour cream ( no matter how healthy it might be it makes no sense to me) I said I’d buy if dad would fly to get it.. he returned and unfortunately the burrito was cold and not made correctly… after some tears (from mom … and us for having to hear about a vegetarian dish bring wrong) we called to inform them about it and hopefully rectify the situation…the staff promptly apologized and offered to replace the menu item.. we thanked them and said one of us would go back up for it…. and then they blew my mind .. they offered to deliver it , and they did with the quickness that impressed me so much I had to write this review… I know that there are people out there who take advantage of customer service programs that companies have but lawrenceburg skyline didn’t even give that a thought and made everything right and saved the day .. I got to spend time with my parents, enjoy a great meal and even more … we got to share a rare moment in this day and age where a (GREAT) company showed that our business really matters and they appreciate us…. I always come here in time and time again just craving their food I couldn't ask for a better chili spot heck I've even tried to replicate the recipe on my own at home and it's just not the same definitely a place to bring your family and friends I'm heck everybody you know I swear I've been going here forever and every time it's always been good the food is always there in less than 5 minutes after you order it the waiters are always super kind and always check up on you they deserve a lot more than they get I really love Skyline yeah to be honest it's kind of basic but you can always spice it up by ordering the chili cheese fries or maybe turning that three way to a four-way or even a 5-way hey they even serve chili burritos I haven't tried them yet but I know they're definitely is good as their everything else that they have served they even serve desserts such as funnel cake french fries sounds weird but they're actually really amazing and I are hundred percent recommend getting them especially if you're having your kids eating with you or maybe just looking for a dessert to snack on they even started serving cheesecakes and they have a weekly cheesecake never ceases to amaze me...
