Out of town for a trip to the Ark Adventure, stayed at the Double Tree hotel. Did Google search for coffee shops and this place came up. It was walking distance so me and my family walked to the shop people where sitting outside and greeted us kindly. The shop has a quaint home feeling, but as African Americans we didn't get that from some of the staff. It felt as we were accepted but not welcome. Our tour bus driver was over kindly and left a tip, but the kindness was not reciprocated.
