No Class "Heartless"

I have learned of a situation that happened at this establishment recently. How they handled this situation disgust me! A young man named Jon Spurlock went to this business pretty often, played pool and hung out with his friends. He always brought his own poolstick which was a pretty expensive stick. He had left the stick there at the business by mistake when he went home. He went back to get his poolstick and was told he didn't pay his tab of $32.00 so he's not getting his poolstick until it's paid. Jon said that he paid the tab he gave the bartender cash but they still refused to give him his poolstick. (isn't that against the law to keep someone's personal property?) His father then went and tried to get the poolstick they refused to give the poolstick to him. They then told him Jon would have to be the one who pays the tab to get the stick back. Now for those who don't know Jon Spurlock or the tragic event that has happened to him recently let me explain. In April Jon was in Indianapolis visiting his girlfriend and he was the victim of a horrific crime. Jon was in his girlfriend's house when someone did a drive by shooting into that house. Jon was shot in the head and seriously injured. He is now in a nursing home facility unable to speak, walk or communicate at all. We do not know what the future holds, but we do know that we will not give up on Jon. Now most of the community and several businesses are pulling together doing fundraisers and donating money to help this family in a time of need. This "business" with all that has happened to Jon Spurlock, still wouldn't give his poolstick back to his family. A friend of his family called and spoke to the owner of this FINE establishment and was told if the $32.00 tab was paid she could get his poolstick. The tab was paid thanks to a very kind and caring person. I'm happy to say Jon's family finally has his poolstick. I really don't have words to describe what I think of this business and its heartless owner. It's a terrible way to run a business but more disturbing how could any person be that cruel. I wl never step foot in this establishment again! I really hope others think long and hard about it before they spend their hard earned money at this business. WHY NOT SAY TAKE THE POOLSTICK WE WILL COVER THAT $32.00 TAB, AND IF THERE'S ANYTHING WE CAN DO TO HELP THIS FAMILY...

I hadn't been in there in a long time a couple of years. The food was way way over priced. I had good service, there was 6 people in the bar and I was one of the 6. Lol I ordered a crown Royal with diet 7 Up was told there's no diet pop other than diet Coke so I got crown on the rocks with a little 7Up on the side. I have diabetes and I can drink a shot now and then even a crown and seven as long as it's diet. I paid for the first drink I gave her a $20 she gave me back $14. I ordered a second drink same as the first one, and a Burger and fries (it was the Burger with pork barbq). The Bar person (Mel) told me the bill came to $25.75. so if you take the $6 off for my 2nd drink that means I paid $19.25 for a burger and fries I think there's something wrong (way to high) and I tipped her four and a quarter bucks more than the $25.75 I was charged. The food was nothing to brag about I mean it was decent. Also they should carry diet 7 up or sprite. It's caffeine free and no sugar in the diet soda. I think that's a ripped off that's way to much for any burger and fries. It wasn't even real...

I LOVE this place! GREAT FOOD at a reasonable price with monthly and daily specials. Rhys, Simon, and Drew are great cooks! Amazing bartenders! Marisa, Christian, Debbie, Chelsea, Pam, and the cute guy, Conner(?) are all friendly and awesome. They know my favorite drinks and my food orders usually before I even walk through the door. They are good at keeping the peace and keeping the atmosphere laid back. The selection of Touch Tunes on the Jukebox is usually pretty good. Always upbeat. Having the pool tables, the indoor corn hole, and other games keeps it from being boring. The TV show are everywhere, so you don't miss out on sports, and the patio is nice too. The owners Melissa and Ean (spelling?) Are always friendly and greet me as if they have known me for years. The regulars are all laid back and fun. This place is great for a younger crowd with bands, and for an older crowd with great draft beer. Love the open mic, karaoke, and trivia nights. Definitely a great...
