Little Barn — Restaurant in Lawrenceville

May 15 2018 after I had a test at the hospital I wanted to go to the Little Barn because when I lived in Lawrenceville Georgia it was known for the best barbecue in town but it also is known for something else ( bad customer service ) and I was hoping after a long morning at the hospital it has changed because it has been a while since I went to the Little Barn .

So , we went through the drive through because there was only about four cars in front of us but it wasn’t moving so I decided to go in the ladies room . I thought I would see it busy in side but only a couple of customers at the table and only a lady working the front and one guy in the back .

So in the ladies room there was no soap so I asked the lady for some she told me there was some and I said I don’t see any but she couldn’t show me or get me any she just kept telling there is some so needless to say I wasn’t happy and left lucky we had our food at the drive through.

I don’t know who that lady is but she was the only lady working has curly hair and bangs when I got home with in the hour I called wthe lady on the phone said her name was Kathy .

I was talking about taking my friend there when she got home from out of town that will not happen for a while even though I love the food but that lady doesn’t know how to treat customers and I have red some reviews and I am not the only one so I hope one day the owner will see the reviews it is really sad for the Little Barn has been around for a long time and it is sad one person has that kind of attitude rubs off on customers .

So Kathy or if that isn’t your name you need to be retrained on customers service or...

Another Update 12/15/22. Still awesome place with awesome staff! Please if you have not try their homemade potato chips! Oh my gosh they are amazing! They literally slice and fry them themselves! And dip them in the Stew! You will not regret getting this and if you regret that this dish is added to your bad foodie habits just blame me lol

Update! This place customer service has completely changed! To give me or anyone a warm good morning or good afternoon means a lot! I mean wherever we go to get our breakfast or coffee at our favorite spots they are the first faces we see after we leave the house to get the day started! I have been going here more often since I work from home now and I am never disappointed in the food or the friendly customer service! Please go! If you see cars wrapped around the the restaurant still give it a chance. It is worth it! And they move pretty fast!

It's alright. The customer service could be much better. But the biscuits are good. I had the hot link biscuit and my fiance had the steak biscuit. I pass this place every morning on the way to work and it is PACKED at 7 something in the AM all the time. We went on a Saturday morning around 11am and the people were just not happy. But the place is awesome the employees needs work on customer service. I recommend Gravy with Biscuits...

Generally i don't review, but after reading some of the others posted i feel compelled to write something. I have been getting breakfast here for years, and as with any resturant there are a couple of times i have been disappointed with one thing or another and i have certainly encountered the salty window lady but having said that i want to encourage everyone who visited once and gave up for one reason or another to give them another chance. The breakfast here is amazing especially for the price.biscuits are huge the steak is big, grits are always cooked right. never had the eggs or links so i can't speak on that but the cinnimon rolls are definitely worth a try. i had lunch here today for the first time and promise to return for the brunswick stew that is in my top 5 all time best and i have tried hundreds. the girls at the window today were great and i think it would be a shame for anyone to miss out on this gem due to one bad experience or negative reviews. If it isn't perfect they will take care of you. these practices are becoming few and far between in our food industry and i love finding places like this that remind me there are still a few business out there who actually care about providing a good product with...
