Jimmy's Egg — Restaurant in Lawton

Upon arriving we sat in the entrance for several minutes waiting to be seated while multiple people continued to look at us and walk away. Finally the server who decided to seat us after looking at us up and down for a few minutes sat us down and took our drink orders. As my wife was ordering for herseld and our child, the server just started to walk away forcing my wife to practically yell their drink order to the waitress. We decided to let it be because you never know what someone else is going through and maybe she was having a moment. Once our food arrived, there were items missing and our server not once checked on us willingly. I say willingly because my wife had to call her over to the table to inform her that we were missing items. We recieved said items and began to eat, or try to. My wife ordered the belgian waffle and began to put butter on it which dod not melt. At all. She started to eat it and noticed that the entire waffle was cold like it had been sitting for quite some time. We waited for our waitress to come back and check on us so she could politely request that a new waffle be made. Again, we understand flukes and that things happen behind the scenes. Didnt make a big deal out of it, again. For the rest of our visit (truly about 45 minutes) we waited for our server to come back and check on us and she never did. Not once. Both my wife and I noticed that our server would quickly peer over the corner and before we had a chance to get her attention she was gone again for a period of time. What seemed to be a manager (we were not aware that she was a manager at the time) was helping a table next to us and once again our server peered over the corner quickly and my wife and I heard the manager ask our server if we were good, and she nodded her head yes, which was a bold lie. My wife spoke up and stated that we have not been checked on once and that we would like assistance and by the time she had finished her sentence both the manager and our server were gone. By this time we were both irritated, my wife moreso than I because she is pregnant and was very hungry but displeased with the food and the service. A little bit later our server peeked over the corner, AGAIN, then left and came back with our ticket. As quickly as she put it on the table she walking away again. My wife had to call her back to our table to explain that her food was not appetizing. The server not once apologized for the inconvenience and left. We then were approached by the manager and our server and asked if we would like for our food to be made again. My wife politely declined and explained that she had already sat for so long waiting to be checked on that she would rather not wait any longer for “fresh” food to be made. The manager was very polite and took the meal off the ticket.

The service we recieved from the waitress was terrible to say the least. It was FAR from busy while we were dining and there was absolutely no excuse for her behavior.

This was our first time trying Jimmy's Egg, and it was an awful experience. We went on a Sunday morning when it was really busy, but we only waited about 15 minutes to sit down. The coffee was not very good for starters, it tasted burnt. We both ordered our food, and when it came out was when the real issues began. I opened my silverware and there was food on it. I waited about 5 minutes for our waitress to come back and check on us, I asked for an extra side of chipotle mayo and then showed her my silverware so she left to grab another set, but we didn't see her again for 10 minutes. When she came back she unwrapped the napkin herself and found dirty silverware on a second set and so she left again. Finally after 15 minutes my husband got up and walked to another table to grab silverware, and the one he grabbed also had food on it. Our waitress saw him and ran and grabbed me silverware which she said hand washed. I took a couple bites of my food and of course it was cold by then. My pancakes were undercooked and the potatoes were bland. At this point I had asked for the extra side of chipotle mayo 4 times, and still had not seen it. After I ate some of my pancakes and 25 minutes from when I first asked for the chipotle mayo, she came by and realized she never got it for me, so I finally just asked for a box. She ended up bringing it out with the box. Additionally my husband's food was not good. He started eating it right away and it was cold. His vegetable skillet was very bland, covered in too much cheese, and was very wet. His mushrooms were also canned (not fresh). His biscuit was not very well cooked either, so he didn't eat very much. The manager was walking around and I believe he saw me sitting for a long time without touching my food but he never came over to see what the issue was. Our waitress was very busy, so we understood the situation to an extent, but waiting so long for clean silverware that the food gets cold is terrible. This restaurant is very bad and does not deserve even one star. If I could write my review without any star I would. I went on this day to have breakfast for the first time in this restaurant. I was surprised by the severe crowding in front of the restaurant and I said to myself that this is good, it must be good, but unfortunately When I sat down and entered the restaurant, I realized why all this crowding. The restaurant was in chaos and there was no seating arrangement. The tables where you had to stand for 10 minutes without any intimidation. Then you sit at the table and wait for another 10 minutes without any welcome. Then the employee appears to you, takes the order in a hurry and waits for a while. 52 minutes waiting for your slorder and you are served coffee that has no taste at all and is very cold. After waiting 52 minutes, your order comes wrong and not what you expected. You ordered a completely vegetarian meal and unfortunately you an see ham meat distributed over every place. When i asked the lady what this is, she took all the orders and said, “Let me check.” She got up. She dropped the plate on me and I grabbed it. After that, I asked her to meet the manager. She gave me unpleasant looks and she went to call him . She informed me that the manager was busy and could not meet with me now, and I had to wait again. Unfortunately, I entered and waited for an hour after all this happiness, and I did not eat my breakfast meal. I left the restaurant and did not I return to here again, and here I am, in turn, conveying my message and advising everyone to stay away from this restaurant because it is bad in dealing, bad in organization, and bad in management, and whatever was bad in all of this, it is certain that the food will be bad, so what a regret I wasted my time , and thank God I actually survived.
