So tonight my fiancée went to this location. We thought to give them a try again as our last experience dine wasn’t the best, and I expressed the lack of training and focus on the customer as employees previously wanted to talk and giggle and play on their phone then do there job as to serve the customers that paid and dine in. This location you can see clearly the whole kitchen basically. It’s been months since returning and then tonight my fiancée wanted to give them the opportunity to clear the air from your last encounter. We are big into keeping locations the don’t have multiple franchise stacked in this town around. When she arrived there was only 1 car in the window and no cars in line. Just the following car awaiting there order. As she started to order they had a older gentleman taking orders and after reading it back more than three times, for just the first part of our order (which was a combo, nothing extravagant) they asked her to pull forward. She was already confused because she wasn’t asking for much just a wing combo. This task already seemed to be to much. She called to express her frustration. Once at the window she was approached by the older gentleman who then called over to younger guys who. Old have possibly been still in school . They all seemed to be lost on how to operate their machine and just kept asking her to repeat her self. (Just to place the order from the box/ menu took her over ten minutes before being asked to pull forward. Once at the window to complete her full order took another ten minutes or more. The gentleman looked so lost and lack of training was expressed through their body language and sense of being. After a total of over 45 minutes to drop wings and prepare our order they served us in all large containers for just out sides. So filled up half way only. Which showed me the morale of the story into why the employees seemed to be lost. The lack of management skills prepared to run a world wide/ well known establishment. After leaving and ranting and getting home, a 18 minute ride home as we live on the east side. We open the meal box’s to find our wings in sauced and items still missing. We called up their to express our concerns and where greeted with an employee that felt no sympathy for our time already spent and told us to return them and they’ll exchange them (our wings were dry and un-sauced). My fiancee was not going to eat the wings the way the came as that was not what we wanted or intend to get. She returned to the drive thru. Once at the box they told her their system was now “down” and they couldn’t place any other orders. Pushing others to leave. Its ridiculous for a owner to have to lose money because ether the general manager is there for a check or isn’t doing their job as expected, I’m a supervisor of factory and work with food and this would not be settling for my career if I was to be in hindsight, Like this location. She also work factory work and time is money. By time we got new sauces wings and returned home the rest of our order was now cold. Lawton needs to understand that we can never get what we enjoy when traveling to other towns and locations for food. When you can’t get “fast food” right we lost over an hour of our night and driving back and fourth. It should be apart of their expectations for who bagged it to verify each order. All I can say is most nights their line is to the street and I thought it might be because it’s the only location but now I can see that people here just don’t understand what it takes to manage a business. For the rest I would stand clear from here if you could because I couldn’t imagine if we decided to order door dash and harass one of their drivers for this locations mistakes. You’re one of the only select choices on the west side of this town which is considered to be fast food. Fast was an understatement and the food tasted like the grease hasn’t been changed in a while. Popeyes’s you need to really look at the this establishment. For the next customers I hope you enjoy and have a better time...
Read moreI do not like leaving bad reviews. Honesty I don’t. However, if I could give less than 1 star I definitely would. I ordered online for convenience, which is what the app is supposed to be about. Convenience, right? The person at the window cut me off when I told her I have an online order and told me rudely that I have to come inside to get my online order. The drive thru was full, inside the store was also busy. I have never heard this before. I told her I want to speak to the manager and that I should not have to pull around and come inside. She said she was the manager and I could come inside to get my order and condescendingly said THANK YOU. At the window of course I was stuck in line. I told her I’m stuck in line and asked how am I supposed to pull around and she said. I’ll make the cars move and you can come in to get your order and again condescendingly said. THANK YOU and closed the window in my face. At this point I just wanted to leave so I waved at her to come to the window and told her I wanted to cancel the order. She with an attitude told me I have to do that online on the app. I told her that was bullsh** and since when do we have to come inside to get online orders. She said she didn’t know and she was new there. I also asked her why she can’t just walk over to get my order. She kept repeating that she doesn’t make the rules to each of my questions. What got me was the sarcastic condescending THANK YOU and shutting the window before I have a chance to say anything else . Who does that? This is ridiculous. There was no customer service whatsoever. I experienced rude and disrespectful interaction with the MANAGER of the store! On the outside it looks like a fresh new Popeye’s. Newly remodeled. Sadly there was no willingness to help, no apologies, nothing. Just a window slammed in my face. I don’t know what is going on with this store. This is not the first bad experience I’ve had in the past 6 months. I’ve been told the drive thru was not working so I had to come inside. I’ve waited longer than expected for my online order to be ready. The food is overpriced. The service is terrible. Online orders clearly after this experience are being overlooked because the manager did say that the window orders are timed. So me waiting in line for my online order affected what? Obviously it wasn’t ready. I will never be back. This used to be a regular rotation for me and my family, but unfortunately I can’t justify spending my money at a business that does not care about customer...
Read morePSA: Take a course on customer service! You make money by way of customers! Not cooking, you can cook and if no one buys it, guess what? You’ll be SOL! Learn some decent communication skills, leave whatever drama, problems, and tiredness at the door before you clock in. Try being motivating and uplifting instead of micromanaging and being rude. No one wants to do business with stressed employees who nit pick every Lottie thing, like SAUCE! a bottle of ketchup cost 2$ a cup of y’all’s sauce cost 75 cents! You’re not going to die if someone request a sauce last min after paying. Write it off shesh, lastly if you going to micromanage be sure you put a hair net on FIRST! Self accountability is far more important than knowing the price of sauce. I will avoid returning at all cost, the vibe is off, it’s less than appeasing, I didn’t feel like a valued customer, your workers were so stress soon as you steeped on their toes. The food is decent but the attitude is trash, from you and the cook that’s complaining about how there’s “to much chicken in the box” when someone ordered a 12 piece! It’s suppose to be to much chicken in that small box. Let these employees do their job WITHOUT micro aggression and management! Bless it be yall gotta long way to go to get it together, I would NOT work here for any...
