An interesting experience that I had today. Went to this location as I usually do to wait at a stall. I usually use the app to “order ahead” and then my bf and I will wait in the stall till it’s time to check in and play games on our phones and kinda just hang out, right? Well today, at about 11:50 AM, there we were at sonic. We ordered our usual $21.10 worth of breakfast burritos, tots, and drinks, and when I went to place the order, the money was charged but ... no order? I checked my bank, I checked the app. It said my order failed to process and gave me the option to pay again and “place order” but .... no receipt for the money they already charged me? No confirmation email? No? Okay. So I pressed the button and explained my situation. A manager came outside. Blonde lady. Said her name was Ms. Sabine? Something like that. And she told me to “wait” because “maybe it’ll show up” after I explained to her several times that the money has been withdrawn, (showed her my online bank statement) and that there was no confirmation and my order was still in the “checkout” area of the app.. she INSISTED that I wait. So, we waited. I waited the 10 minutes extra that it never takes to see if “an order appears.” The time went by, we pressed the button again, asked for the manager directly. Who came out? Not her. Another lady named Danielle came to see what the issue was. We told her what we told Ms. S. And Danielle was kind enough to offer me a 1800 number to call. I called support, all while still waiting at the location in the same stall, but to our surprise, Ms. Danielle came back outside to our car and asked us what our order was so that they could make it for us. In conclusion, our visit started out normal, took a turn downhill, but with Danielles customer service and problem solving efforts, we will be returning to this location for our usual shenanigans. Read moreI was excited to know that this location reopened so instead of going to our regular spot on Lee, I convinced my hubby to go to this one. We went thru the drive thru and the guy was very slow at taking order. We were very specific too. #1 with mustard and ketchup and bacon, medium ring well-done and the dbl cheeseburger meal with no tomatoes, no onions with mayo, medium ring also well done and a sonic blast. It's crazy, because what we ordered is what he verified, however it was all messed up. We pull up to the drive thru window and the girl said someone would be right with us. She closes the window and starts screaming and her coworkers and dropping the f-bombs; we heard her clear as day. It took a little longer than expected and we were actually about to drive off but they finally came. I go thru bag just to make sure visually everything was there. First off, no whip on the blast. We get home and the rings were so greasy and limp (Yuck!) And they totally messed our burgers up and on top of that, couldn't even finish eating any of it, because again, the rings were so nasty and even the lettuce on the burgers were nasty soggy.
