Sunrise and Shine Omelet Grill — Restaurant in Lawton

I have went here one other time with my partner. Food was decent for the cheap prices. Our waitress was always fantastic. Kind, fast, great service. After today I will never be back. I went to pay for my meal and the woman in charge of the register asked if I had a tip for my waitress in cash. I did not, I unfortunately had no cash at the time and was planning to pay and tip via debit card. I asked if I could tip on my card and she then raised her voice at me and said "I have five signs. I have a sign there, there, there that says no tipping with credit card." She rudely went and pointed to each sign telling me I should have seen them. She then said she would take 3 dollars out of the register and apply it towards a tip. (I am not sure how any of this makes sense.) She was incredibly rude. I did not notice her poorly handwritten signs and this isn't a common practice. I always tip and planned to today but did not know that issue. When I saw my receipt she upcharged me more than the 3 dollars she claimed and only gave the waitress 3 dollars. Food was okay however we were unaware you had to have cash tips because they don’t accept them on cards, the waitress informed us first of all by asking if we were going to tip her which caught me off guard.. of course we had planned to on the card which is what we said and she replies with “ Don’t you know your supposed to leave cash tips we don’t accept them on cards” now had there been some kind of sign or indication saying they only accept cash tips it wouldn’t have been a problem to make sure to bring cash the next time around. I go to my car dig up some random dollar bills cause it’s 2022 who carries cash anymore… well at least I don’t. I come back in to the waitress complaining out loud to another customer that “this is bs everyone knows you tip cash” mind you we were with a large group most of them had some kind of cash to tip very few of us didn’t so in the long run she was tipped well by the table but still complained about the few of us that didn’t have cash. I don’t know what happened to this place because it used to be really good, but the service as well as the food sucks now. The coffee was warm not hot, food was warm not hot. Everything was completely disgusting and very bland. Our biscuits and toast, which was forgotten about and was brought to us after the meal, was even a disappointment. One was undercooked and still doughy and the other was cooked but so dry it crumpled when I tried to put jam and butter on it. The toast wasn’t even toasted. I really don’t understand how biscuits and toast can get messed up. The icing on the cake had to be when we checked out the lady asked if we tipped and when we said no because of how disappointed we were with everything she started to argue with us and then decided to add a tip herself to our card transaction and called the waitress over and gave her the cash in front of us saying that they deserve a tip cause they are broke. I do not and will not recommend this place to anyone! They will never get my business again. If I could give zero stars...
