Worst service ever, earlier today, I attempted to get a blackout slush and they ran out of the glasses that came with them. Then this evening, I went to order the new oreo cheesecake sundae with a garlic bacon burger and after waiting about 15 minutes for that Samantha came out and said we ran out if the scoop for the sundae. She then asked me if I wanted it without or if I wanted something else and I told her I didn't want anything, so she says ok sorry have a good day and started to walk off and i asked if I could have a refund receipt and she said yes and that she would be back. So I waited and waited and she never did come back. On the ordering screen, a little box popped up asking for a workers pin so I press the button to speak with someone and it was red for awhile then it cut off. And i upset at this point then I press the button again and it is red as I'm about to send someone to the door someone asks if I want to order, I tell them I am still waiting on a refund receipt and the person on the other side in a rude way says "HOLD ON" a few minutes later what looks like a teenage boy comes out and says "here." I am pissed at this point... needless to say I am not going to this sonic anymore. I was already hesitant from my visit in 2023 but I see nothing has changed. All of these fast food resturants in Elgin have disrespectful kids working at them...
Read moreFood order was very wrong, even after the order was repeated and shown on the screen. Two # 3 combos with extra onions, tots, and drinks. Order was brought out and only one combo and an extra burger arrived. Told the carhop and someone else came out with the receipt and said they could make this right, but since I paid with a card, the order would have to be refunded and then the card be ran again? Why? Just go back and get the tots and Dr. Pepper that was missing. Was told that could not be done and we would have had to pay that again. We were pretty upset at this time and told them to refund the card and they can have the food that was brought out originally back. Got the refund and then left and visited Braums across the street for our meals. What I do not understand is how the order was repeated exactly how it was ordered and even showed on the screen, but totally wrong when it got to our car? Will not be eating at this Sonic...
Read moreOver the last 3 months the service at this location has been so disappointing that I'm still not sure if the individuals who work here are holding a grudge whenever they see I place an app order. You may wonder why keep coming back? Well you get half priced drinks anytime on the app.. I'm gonna come back and hope it's better every time. I also get my order from the car hop with ice cream and soda all over the cups, which is fine but they then immediately turn around and don't provide napkins. Today I just want an ocean water with vanilla and sweet cream. There are 3 occupied stalls total at the location. I place my app order, receive my drink from the carhop Ashley, and the drink order is incorrect, my drink is a mess, and again.. no napkin as the carhop runs away, I mean genuinely I'm perplexed by the service here lately, that's why I had to make...
