I'm not a person that is accustomed to this new generation of people who frequently visits the hugely popular set of casual coffee shops.
However, my college aged children love to hang out at some of these establishments, rather they are meeting up with friends, or investing countless hours to their studies in an upbeat yet peaceful environment.
Well as a treat for my daughter while she was at work, I decided to stop by her job and bring her a surprise from one of her favorite places unexpectedly.
Now given the aforementioned degree of my awareness of the myriad of offerings from this well-known business, I decided to save myself some time by trying out the convenience of the drive thru to place my order.
As I moved into my place in line, I grew anxious due to never having frequented this Cafe.
But as I found it my turn in line to place my order, I was genuinely greeted by one of the friendliest customer service representatives I've had a chance to interact with in quite a while.
I told her of my unfortunate lack of familiarity with exactly what to order for my daughter, and visited the Cafe only because I knew that this was a mentioned place that she enjoyed.
The representative walked me through exactly what I should order based upon a few key points of inquiry from her, with the warmest demeanor and highest level of professionalism and patience ever.
She made the entire experience so easy for me, and seemed to really enjoy her job. She assuredly has a plethora of knowledge of the vast amount of products that are available within the confines of the business, and how they work together to make what has become their flagship of success throughout the industry.
I tell you, if I was an undercover boss that was assisted by her, I would have definitely mirrored how they find and award unique chandeliers of beautiful light like her, for the exceptional degree of perfection in services rendered by her from start to finish.
I must say that, through her perfected suggestion based on her wealth of knowledge regarding the many wonderful options I had, I was able to present my daughter with a masterfully crafted surprise refreshment that elevated my beloved standing as a dad, and the quality of the drink according to my daughter was above reproach in delicious flavor bursting tastes of enjoyed bliss.
Though I am not a true coffee lover, I will assuredly make it a point to visit this business again, as they have many more phenomenal options to choose from outside the range of just coffee, that the representative suggested that should try at least once when it's convenient for me, with genuine confidence that I would thoroughly enjoy my experience.
I definitely appreciated the opportunity to interact with that awesome representative of Varidian Coffee, and will definitely make it a point to visit there again to treat my...
Read moreViridian Coffee on 2nd Ave in Lawton is a 12-star stronghold in a sea of weak sludge. Last Wednesday, I rolled up in my SUVâfreezing as hell, errands stacked, no chance to ride the Roadmasterâand strode in, black leather Indian biker jacket on, hunting a brew that fits my taste, no compromise. Josh1, the assistant manager, clocked the jacket right offââSweet Indian gear,â he said, sparking a convo about loving Indian bikes. Guy owned itâgrinned fierce, met my stare, and tore into coffee profiles like a man possessed. He dumped more info than I could process, but carved it so slick I claimed it fast. No follower here; I set my path and charged.
Last week Thursday, I hit their Cache Rd spot after gagging on a burnt, acidic mess from a corporate chain down the streetâpure trash. Matthew (now a ministerârespect) didnât flinchâsnatched that garbage and swapped it for a fresh Remedy, no cost. Smoother than a throttle twistâthose other chain stores canât hang.
Two days agoâWednesday againâI roared back to 2nd Ave on my Roadmaster with a bag of mediocre beans Iâd been stuck with. They ground it while I slammed a Remedy cappuccino. Tried a shot of Cowboy Blend, and it hit like a fistâsold, no question. I wish I could remember the name of the barrister that helped me! What an asset for the company!!
This morning, Friday, with the temp in the 70sâperfect riding weatherâI brewed a cup from those grounds at home, took one sip, and dumped itâutter junk. Rode the rest to 2nd Ave, and they took overâtossed that crap, hooked me up with a bag of Cowboy Blend. Ordered a Cowboy cappuccino, and Josh1 passed me to Josh2, a barista who doesnât break. Guy fought through three or four pullsâgrinder wouldnât go fine enough, no dice. Unshaken, Josh2 swapped Remedy for Cowboy in the espresso rig and forged the best cappuccino Iâve ever hadâbold as steel, smooth as a blade. Thatâs not service; thatâs conquest.
Both Joshes love Indian bikesâdonât ride âem like I do, but they get the iron. Josh1 stepped out into that 70s breeze to greet me this morning , eyeing my Roadmaster with a nod and swapping bike talk for a couple of minutes. Two rugged cats who respect the game, syncing with my edge. The crew? All titansâfriendly, relentless. Donât know their names, but Iâd call each one out if I didâtheyâve earned it. Cache or 2nd Ave, Viridianâs my turf nowâthey donât just brew coffee; they forge respect. Theyâre the backboneâlast weekâs cold forced the cage, but todayâs ride roared my truth, tying my steel soul to their grit. Iâve roared itâcanât...
Read moreCoffee is definitely tasty- both in store and the ground coffee for home. There have been many times where they get orders wrong or incomplete when ordered in drive thru. They'll forget extra drizzle, or if more than one flavor is ordered only one of those flavors will make it into the coffee. They are very patient with questions and try their best to accommodate any special requests. One thing I really have an issue with is how they make uniformed military personnel ask for the military discount they offer. I'd rather them not offer it all. No one is going to "dress up" as a soldier the same way an actual Soldier looks like to finesse them into getting it. Really? Second issue is the looooooong greeting at the drive thru and inside the store. I get- they want to be polite and welcoming, but you can still be all of those things without wasting people's time. Some people may have tons of time to get coffee, but others barely squeeze in enough time in the work day to get their "wake-up fix." I like the small town chill personality, but a coffee shop in the mornings is not the ideal place for that. Especially with a whole military post a couple of miles away. I personally hated the "I'm so and so, what's your name!!!??!" As a greeting. No. Say hello and take my card lol. But that's just me. Coffee itself is truthfully...
