Papa Johns Pizza — Restaurant in League City

After picking my order up, I noticed that pepperoni was missing on one of my pizzas. I politely walked back in to inform them. Manager on duty, nonchalant, stated it would be 10mins and apologized. After waiting 15mins in my car, I walked back in. It took a couple more mins which wasn’t a big deal. However, Not one time was I offered anything for the wait or inconvenience. I was not expecting anything free, but to get home and see that my pizza was hastily made, I would’ve been ok with a free drink or dessert. The pizza had extra sauce so much that the cheese was sliding off. They must’ve poured the entire container of black olives on the 5 slices of pizza that I ordered since I requested only half with olives. Olives was smothered both under and on top of the cheese. It honestly felt like a prank. I had to leave this review because Papa Johns is usually the best! And to have this not so pleasant experience tonight just ruined it for me. I’m hoping for better service and product...

Ok so it is fathers day and I had a plan. Merlot poolside and pizza. I usually opt for Bada Bing or Marios but I was on a budget and did not want to drive so I went with Papa Johns 2 lrg for 20 deal. Unlimited toppings including extra cheese. I loaded them up and went with the std crust. I usually do a thin crust but with extra cheese and a lot of toppings I decided to go with the thicker crust. Ordered online and choose the "well done" option. I hate when an undercooked pizza arrives. These babies arrived very hot. I mean you could not eat them right away. First time for a take out pizza that arrived this hot and fresh. These things were loaded, well cooked, and very cheesy with some great real cheese. For 28 bucks I had a meal for 4 and a second meal for 4 the next day. Papa Johns might beat out authentic Italian pizza but it was so good that it kicked the hell out of the other big 2 chains. Ordered the day before and the driver was was acting weird and when I asked if he had change for a 20, the bill was 13 he asked how much do I want back with a dead stare.. I said 7.. misheard how much it was and he said what, the pizza is 13 dollars.. And I said oh my bad I thought you said 10 dollars is what the pizza was. So I said ok just give me 2 dollars back and then he said "Good!" Like it would of been a problem if I did otherwise.. And the pizza I got looked like it was stepped all over because of how smashed it was. But I called and let them know and the manager e-mailed me to apologize and gave me a free pizza, same as I ordered and it was so much better.. the guy I talked to on the phone, Dustin was very helpful and sincere about the situation and the delivery driver Joey was 1000 times cooler and made the delivery smooth and easy, so they definitely have my praise.
