The jalapeño and cheese sausage kolaches (klobasneks) are amazing and come in two different sizes. They also have this thing called a “spinach monster” that is really great too if you like creamy spinach combined with flaky pastry. If donuts are more your style, their maple donuts are really good, but the strawberry or blueberry ones are flavors that will blow your mind. I’d pass on the old-fashioned though (it is intensely overly sweet and doesn’t 100% hit the mark of a true old-fashioned). If you don’t arrive right when everything comes out, don’t worry; they ask you if you’d like to have it warmed up! It seems more like a place that you grab & go, although they do have a some chairs and a table (we always get ours to go and then enjoy at home). When I looked at the pics I was impressed of how different their donuts looked. You can tell because of the icing looks good quality. I had to drive 16mins away to try them out. I almost didn't. So glad I did! Hands down the best place I've been to that wasn't a chain. (I love DD and Krispy Kreme). I saw the blueberry donut and I saw chunks of blueberry! That's when you know this is a legit place when they make their icing out of fruit. That's real baking! The red velvet is good and I'm picky about this flavor cause most of the time it taste fake. She put cherry icing on top of it. 😍 Apple fritter is very good! Soft but crisp taste. I've noticed it's the smaller shops that have great skill at making donuts. Yum! Love this place! I wish I took some photos. It's such a fun and interesting donut shop. My kids love to go there and pick out which donuts they like. The most recent trip my son picked a dinosaur chocolate, and my daughter got a pink princess donut.

They have monster figurines scattered throughout the store. They are always friendly, and look family owned.

Monster donuts is a great place to visit if you want to try something different from the big chain donut shops that don't have much character.
