On Tuesday, August 19th, my family and I patronized this establishment. The service we received was unsatisfactory. Initially, we were instructed to select any available table. Upon seating ourselves, we were not provided with menus until we requested them. Subsequently, an employee informed us that a server would be delayed in attending to our table, as she was occupied with a large party of approximately 25 guests. Given the server's preoccupation, it would have been prudent for a manager to have addressed our table to initiate drink orders. Considering the presence of children, I inquired about the optimal ordering process, ultimately opting for a thin-crust pizza. I then posed questions to the server regarding the vegetable pizza. The server appeared overwhelmed, and when I inquired about the ingredients, she stated that she was unfamiliar with them, having only commenced her employment two days prior. This was perplexing, as it seemed a manager could have provided assistance.
The lack of managerial support for the new server raises concerns regarding training and oversight. The server's inexperience was evident, and the absence of guidance from a supervisor during the order-taking process is noteworthy.
The order, which included salads, pizzas, and fries, was processed, and a coupon was identified. When I as the customer inquired about the coupon, the response from the male manager was perceived as unhelpful. The server, on her second day, sought assistance, but the manager did not provide it.
Upon delivery, the pizzas were incorrect, with the wrong crust type. I ordered thin crust but it was Original Crust. I informed the server of the error. Due to time constraints, the issue remained unresolved. The bill reflected the incorrect order which i told the server showing the ticket I brought the issue to the attention of another manager, who displayed a negative attitude.
I attempted to contact the General Manager without success. This lack of response and the consistent negative experiences with management at this location...
Read moreI have been coming to this location for 8 years. And for the last 8 years the staff & service (Leigh, Steven, Logan, Skylar, Juan, Paige and I know I have left some others out. Sorry) has been AMAZING! Which is why it upsets me to write this review. But, it’s true when they say it doesn’t matter how great the experience was it only takes one person to change that. And my person was John. I moved away from that location 7 months ago. I decided to go in to have some great food and catch up. I found out while I was there that half of the staff is gone which is unfortunate but that’s the nature of the business. I ordered a Philly cheesesteak which I was told the special was $6 & that I only had to purchase a drink to get the deal. I ordered my food & when it was time to pay, my bill was $20.77 which of course I questioned it because that’s not what I was told. I asked my waitress & she proceeds to check with John. John comes over and starts reading everything to me out loud that I ordered like I’m illiterate as if to say that’s why your bill is the amount that it is. And I tell him I know what I ordered. I wasn’t charged for the special that I ordered. He looks at me like a deer in headlights and says nothing. I asked him if he was the manager and he says, “I am tonight.” I then say you know what don’t worry about it and pay for my bill & leave. No, I’m sorry that you were misquoted, or I can take off this amount. Nothing… I guess that’s the thanks I get for supporting a business for 8 years. I wasn’t looking for anything free. Great customer service would have been nice. John is definitely not a People person. And he doesn’t have the right or place to be rude & judge anyone based on what they ordered. Now, I see why half of the staff is gone. I will no longer be spending my money there anymore. With John on staff prepare to see a...
Read moreWe had a terrible experience here where we brought a group of about 10 kids for a quick pizza before heading out to a school activity. The staff refused to let our children order due to not having a server present. There were about 5 staff standing at the cash register. We offered to place the order online to allow our kids to eat before the event, however, they stated we would not be allowed to eat in the empty restaurant if we placed the order online. The manager on informed me that her GM Jake instructed her to not serve our children until a server was in the building. We reached out to their GM Jake who informed me he would look into it and call me back, he never did. Needless to say, our children waited an hour for a server to enter the building despite 5 staff standing at the front of the restaurant staring at us. Multiple other guests walked out during this 4-5pm timeframe. Absolutely will not be returning to Minskys after this experience. I sincerely hope that they find a better GM to lead this team. This review was written after giving Jake 3+ weeks to respond to...
