We just had the worst experience ever. My daughter got her son this weekend and had promised to take him to Applebee's as it's his favorite place to eat. When we got there, we were seated and never seen the girl that seated us again. We waited with no service for over half an hour. Nobody ever came to help us. My fiance finally went up to the bar and asked if anyone was working our area as we had been waiting so long and nobody had been to help us, yet another family came in and was waited on immediately. Long story short somebody finally came to get our drink orders and it took about 20-30 minutes to get our drinks to our table. Then finally we got to place our food orders . After placing food orders 1 appetizer was brought to our table about half and hour later. Then the rest of us waited another half hour or so for the rest of our food to finally come to the table. We looked online for specials and was advertised that appetizers are half price from 3pm-6pm and again from 9pm -close. I can't eat much so I got an appetizer, my fiance got an appetizer 2 kids got kids meals and my daughter got a salad and an appetizer. Anywho long story short. Horrible and embarrassing experience. When we get a $90 something dollar bill. My daughters phone died so she couldn't transfer more money over to her card. Then we had to scrounge to come up with it. Digging change and everything. The manager that helped us was very understanding and polite and we were still $3 short and she told us that was ok she would take care of it. Yes we had left a tip at the table too. This wasn't the first time we had bad service but last time was like 2 years ago. I want to thank the manager for being professional and trying to help. As far as the rest of the service it was horrible. Also not all of the chicken in my daughters salad was...
Read moreSo I decided I needed a change-up. Gameday is usually BWW, but opted today for a better menu...Applebee's! Walked in and Brooklyn is meeting me with this HUGE wide welcoming smile. "Welcome to Applebee's!" I asked for three things; an outlet, if i could see my game, and a waitress that would pick back if I picked on her. While I came back from the truck, getting my stuff, Brooklyn already had me a table with an outlet, was working with management to get my game, and handed me off to the wonderful, (formerly shy), Miss Alexa. I had a great time with her. She was quick with comments and Not Shy about suggestions/input about the menu. I enjoyed the Bourbon chicken and shrimp. It came out hot (thanks Alexa) and presented just like the picture , which is rare with most menus. I was impressed. The taste was also just as described. Alexa also made sure she waived her magic wand and got rid of ALL calories! Only Applebee's can do that! It wasn't just Brooklyn and Alexa with the excellent customer rapport, I noticed Anna any time she made eye contact with a customer, her smile was just as welcoming. What makes even more of an impression is after I asked Alexa if management was responsible for that. If they expected it... and she said no. It's nice to see that. Here at Applebee's I saw a group of folks who really seem to enjoy people/customers. If anyone reading this lives close, then you already know that this restaurant looks clean and smells fresh when you walk in. That right there goes a long way toward the start of a nice visit. I am glad I opted to get out of my rut of BWW and look for a better menu. Inwas rewarded with a nice afternoon! Thank you All! Bob. Looking forward to my next...
Read moreI usually don’t write reviews but this experience still has me irritated. Last night my husband and I went to dinner, we both knew it was graduation night and we were fine with that, we got there at 7:10pm we were told it’s about a 10 minute wait and we agreed that was fine, the place was packed! The 3 families in front of us got seated and so did we within the 10 minute window, we sat down ordered drinks and an appetizer fairly quick, got our drinks and appetizers super quick, our waitress Alyssa took our dinner order before we got our appetizers, we finish our appetizers and our waitress asks us how everything is and tells us our food should be out shortly(side not we ordered grilled chicken and a chicken sandwich) we continue waiting with her passing our table multiple times saying she’s sorry for the wait and it should be there any minute, meanwhile all the families that were sat when we were had finished their meals and left, 2 more families are sat near us while waiting for our food, our waitress was theirs also it’s 7:48pm and no food we watch the other two families who had been there for 15-20 minutes were getting their food, we are both irritated by this point and we agree at 8pm we’re gone, at 7:59 the manager walks over and says our waitress never put our order in but they had just started it. Not only did the waitress go and check on our food, blatantly lied multiple times saying it was coming, and she treated my husband rudely. I never say that racism is why my husband is treated differently but last night made us really feel that way. I know there aren’t many sit down restaurants here in town but I will NOT eat...
