I am in the area visiting some family and we decided to grab some quick food on the way home. We tried ordering on the app, and it kept kicking us off when we tried to order stating there was an issue with the store(not that the store wasn't accepting orders, but that there was an issue with the store). We decide to go thru the drive through. With 2x cars in front of us, the first car was at the speaker for 10 minutes before moving forward. I then overheard them tell the 1x car in front of me to "please hold", and made him wait 15 minutes before I decided I wasn't going to wait anymore to probably just be told the same thing when I get there. We went in and they had 3x people working. One person cooking, one person that was brand new working the cash register that hadnt been trained on anything and kept asking for help, and the 3rd person that was SUPER lazy and disrespectful who was "working" the drivethrough. You can tell she was more annoyed with the fact there were any customers because she wouldn't even respond until someone called her 3-4 times while she was doing nothing, and then she would come over to help the new employee. Nothing against the new employee, because we've all been at a new job before and been given a lack of training, but clearly the owner doesn't care about the quality of this establishment. Our order after over a full hour before we got our food was still missing items, and tasted like garbage. I usually go through drive thru, because they never have the inside clean the way I feel they should and with a kiddo, it's hard to get him not to lick the tables. But with that being said, the food is always good. The experience today however, has just about made me change my mind completely. Not only was the girl who took my order rude and hateful ( she spoke over me the whole time I was trying to order in a super snobby voice asking me if that's all. You would have just had to be there and hear the way she said it.) Finally I asked for her to give me a minute so I could think, her talking over me had me so flustered I couldn't remember anything I had already said. She very rudely obliged. When I finally got my whole order put in she rudely asked if that was it. I asked for the manager (trust me I know how much everyone hates it when this is done.) Instead of getting the manager she told me to leave, that she didn't need my money. The manager requested that I come inside (he came on the speaker as I asked for him). So I pulled arou d to go inside. I did not hope for an apology or anything of the sort. I figured she may have been having a bad day, we all have those. Instead of listening to me, he told me he had heard the whole conversation and that he couldn't have me being rude and "short" with his employees. The ordering process was quick and efficient, and I was impressed with the patience of the employee who helped me customize my burger to my preferences. I love the "Have it Your Way" option, which allows you to choose the exact ingredients you want in your meal.
The food arrived hot and in a surprisingly short time. The burger was perfectly prepared, with juicy meat and a delicious texture thanks to the grill. The fries were crispy and well seasoned, and the soda was cold.
Additionally, the restaurant was clean and tidy, which made for a pleasant experience. Staff also maintained a high standard of hygiene and following safety measures, which is essential in these times.
