Chen's has New Owners! The Food is No where close to as good as it was! In Fact, we've had Bad Chicken, Veiny Chicken, & Cold Food! Don't Recommend! Update:The Service is not as good as it was. The food has gotten a lot worse. Sometimes, it's old-tasting chicken or bland tasting Sesame Chicken. The Quality of the food has diminished significantly. *Delicious Buffet! Great Service, Clean, Lots of Everything, including Desserts! Delicious variety of Chinese food from Beef & Broccoli, Coconut Chicken to General Chicken and Crab Rangoons. Everything is Fresh & Delicious! UPDATE: Chen's has been Open Inside with a Great Buffet for a month now! Delicious, All You Can Eat Buffet! CLEAN, good service, and Delicious Chinese food with Sushi, salad area, and dessert bar! Very Nice Ambience, Clean Buffet Area, and the Best Chinese Food around Anywhere! DEFINITELY RECOMMEND!!! No buffet now or dining inside. Really hope they open the inside soon! That's the reason for the 4 Stars because I can't believe that there are NO CHINESE restaurants open here on the Inside! We can begin with the fact that I’ve been to copious amounts of buffet across the entire United States. This doesn’t even come close in the bottom 10. The buffet is meager at best. The options are confined to two rows for entrée and sides. So the options are highly limited often times between just a few entrées. The fried rice has no flavor no vegetables or anything that stand out. Every single entrée fell short in some way, may it be flavor temperature or just all around. And a fan favorite the crab Rangoon, while flavors aren’t bad, textually it’s unsound. Highly difficult to chew. Staff seemed absent and we were only served one drink our entire meal. When it came time to pay and leave. It took them several minutes to recognize we were standing there. Lastly, we sadly made the mistake of doing this on the weekend when they served crayfish and other things that we had no interest in eating and got way overcharged for. The food is good . It varies in flavor and texture. Depending on which cook is available that day , I am only assuming that the variation in texture and flavor has to do with the cook of that day. Today my family wanted Chen's I said ok but I didn't want anything. I changed my mind and ordered cashew chicken for me . I was quickly reminded that I've had issues with how they put it together. I explained my concern to the drive thru attendant and she said agreed that it was not right and said it would be done right this time. I was given my food and I parked to look at my cashew chicken..... 🤔 Only to find the same thing that I expressed concern in was done again. I left and ate home and decided that maybe next I'll simply go in and serve myself ☺️.. my concern expressed to the drive thru attendant was I only would find one , sometimes no cashews in my cashew chicken. Well I guess they did 🥴 get it right this time LoL...
