Frankie's Cafe — Restaurant in Lebanon

I recently visited Frankie's Cafe in Lebanon, Tennessee, excited to try because of their 27 years of experience. It was a mixed experience, to say the least. The bacon was cooked just right, and those biscuits? They were amazing. But then came the letdown—the gravy. It wasn't the homemade goodness I expected; instead, it felt like the kind you mix with water and powder. Such a missed opportunity!

Adding to the disappointment, after they dropped off my food, there was no checking on me. No water refills, no check-ins—just nada. Even though the folks there are nice, God-fearing Christians, and that's commendable but I think they could step up their game with the food and service. Have known Frankie for many many years...She has known my son Todd since he was a little boy...Placed a call in order today....Never had problems with the food until now ...Ordered breakfast...2 to go orders, same thing on both ...Picked the order up...For some reason food we ordered was not in both orders....bacon missing..toast was awful...has browns terrible....Ordered gravy ...got brown gravy ...white is what we always get...Called to discuss this with the owner Frankie ...I was told she was slammed to take a message and she would get back with me ...The lady I told my complaint to assured me She would make sure Frankie would know and call me back ...I am very upset ...This was a 25.00 dollar order ..My son works hard for his money ..I have yet to hear from the owner....Just...

Recently my girlfriend and I stayed in Lebanon while visiting the Nashville area. The first morning we were there I found this place online and we went. I knew as soon as I walked in that we had found the right place. The staff knew half of the patrons by name and their order! We felt right at home when we ate there. We actually liked it so much that we had breakfast there 4 mornings in a row until we had to go home. At our last breakfast there the staff did something special for us that I’ll never forget. The next time we visit Nashville we’ll be sure to stay in Lebanon just so we can go to Frankie’s!
